Carrie (1976) is one of my favorite movies of all time. Although I hear this adaption will be more close to the book rather than a remake of the original film, it will be hard to top the original as well as the amazing performances of Sissy Spacek, Piper Laurie, Amy Irving, John Travolta, and Betty Buckley.
