One Direction Double Platinum

It sure ain’t hard to tell that Brit boyband One Direction is skyrocketing their way to success!

As they are now touring America with their sold-out 2012 tour, they have yet another achievement to celebrate — their debut single, What Makes You Beautiful has been certified DOUBLE platinum!

The track recently hit 2 million in digital sales and sold over 131,000 copies in the US alone in its first week.

That’s definitely no small feat!

And get this — after WMYB debuted at #28 on the Billboard Hot 100, it became the highest debut for a British group…since the Spice Girls in ‘98!!

Who says pop music isn’t back?!

The guys are currently on tour for the summer with UK pop sensation, Olly Murs, who’s opening for them!

Weren't able to nab some tickets this time around? There’s still a chance to see them next summer for their 2013 tour…or you can get your hands on their Up All Night: The Live Tour DVD, which just hit stores yesterday!

Sounds like Niall, Harry, Louis, Zayn and Liam are only getting started!

Although I fully support the cause, I question the choice of candidates. A.J. needs her own team of experts to sort out her instability.

Perez can you stop putting random lyrics from One Direction's songs in your posts just to prove that you think you are a fan?? It is so irritating!!

I just can't get over how much you totally ignored them, not only while they were on X Factor but also the entire time they were performing until they officially debuted in America. You're just jumping on the bandwagon and it's annoying. Meanwhile, no one likes Cher Lloyd and yet you force her upon on us.
Whatever, the numbers show who's more successful here, and that's all that matters.

Re: Gracie 2004 – I am amazed that AJ owns the lame, MSM. Comments off on international publications as well. Sad state of affairs when someone is so paranoid that they must pay for their media profile.
