Prometheus Is Beginning To Take Over The International Box Office

We've been assuming that Prometheus would be a major blockbuster this summer and if ticket sales in France are any indication, we're right.
The science fiction film opened up #1 in the European country with $1.5 million worth of ticket sales on the first day, which is the country's second best opening day of 2012.
Much like The Avengers and Battleship, 20th Century Fox is expecting massive returns from the international box office before the Ridley Scott flick ever opens domestically.
Before June 8th, Prometheus will have been shown on 8,000 screens around the world. If audiences respond anything like the French, it's going to be declared a blockbuster before we can even buy a ticket!

Movies opening first outside the US is BS!!! This needs to stop now!
They shoved Prometheus-adverts down your throat in Paris when I was there last week, so I wouldn't hold my breath.. I don't think I've ever seen such intense advertising for one movie haha!
Re: sosoos – you must be an avengers/dark knight sourpuss fan - idiot.
