Remember how we told you Killing Them Softly got a ten-minute standing ovation at Cannes?

And how this could FINALLY be Brad Pitt's win for that glorious golden statue named Oscar??

Well… watch this clip from the film (above) and you'll see why!!

Don't get us wrong. Violence is known to make our stomach turn. We're still sick over that Miami cannibalism story!!

But when Hollywood packages it with a shiny Brad bow, we get the feeling there's gonna be a positive message punched in somewhere. …or at least we hope so! Ha!

And that's why we'll be there when it hits theaters!!

    These days actors applaud each other for taking shits. A standing O means nothing these days. Pitt is a crappy actor. He doesn't deserve an award.

    Brad Pitt sucks, his movies are lame too. I can't remember the last time I was able to sit through a whole Brad Pitt movie. He definetly does not deserve an award.

    I like Brad as an actor. But those lines sound an awful lot like Robert DeNiro talking to Billy Crystal in Analyze This.

    Holy shit! Two guys talking in a car. Wow, that was great. What I wouldn't give to get that 30 seconds of my life back.

    I thought it was great! Love Brad! He can do no wrong in my book. Can't wait to see this movie! It'll be fun to see him in that kind of role.

    Had a hard time hearing the dialogue, not sure if it is my PC or the clip itself, so no way to judge.
