Actor Michael McKean is being transferred to Roosevelt Hospital for physical rehab!
It sucks that he needs phys rehab at all, but it's a good sign that they're starting it already!
Plus he's in good spirits, it seems!
Michael as struck by one or more motor vehicles on a Manhattan sidewalk and suffered serious injuries — which is a bummer because that means he'll be missing the rest of the run of the Broadway production of Gore Vidal’s The Best Man, which he was starring in.
Apparently the rehab will be extensive.
Here's what he said about it:
“I am heading into week two with renewed admiration for New York City’s Emergency Medical Service staff, the NYPD, the staff of St. Luke's Hospital (where I was born!) and all those with problems much greater than my own. I am overwhelmed by the good wishes of friends old and new. My family has been wonderful. My wife Annette, whom I've always suspected of being a saint, has proven to be somewhat more than that.”
Well we hope you get better soon, Michael!
