Shocking Dark Knight Drama With Catwoman And… Leo?

| Filed under: Film FlickersAnne HathawayLeonardo DiCaprioChristian BaleTom Hardy

Leonardo DiCaprio Anne Hathaway TDKR

Ready for a big glass of cray juice!?

Forget Tom Hardy as Bane, Warner Bros. initially wanted Batman to fight the Riddler in The Dark Knight Rises!?!?

And guess who the suits thought should play him??

Leonardo DiCaprio!!

Whaaaat??

That could’ve been so epic!!

Imagine Christian Bale and Leo battling each other for the hearts and minds of Gotham City!! We wonder if they’d get handsy, LOLz!!

Oh well, we guess Hardy pure bald-headed sex isn’t a terrible back-up plan!!

But wait, you look like you dig Vitamin C — so here is more fresh-squeeed juice!!

Cover your eyes if you don’t want to know deets about TDKR, but apparently Anne Hathaway’s character is never once referred to as Catwoman in the film.

Do they just call her "that girl from The Devil Wears Prada"??

We guess the iconic name had a little more cheese than Nolan cared to put on his ham sandwich!!

Has the director lost his marbles or do U still trust him completely?

who is writing these posts? it sounds like perez hired a corny 12 yr old to write these things now. you're overdoing it by trying to be funny/sassy and it's not working

It wasn't Christopher Nolan who wanted Leo, it was the Warner Bros. executives. Nolan didn't like the idea at all. And it's a good thing because Leo would have ruined the movie.

I agree. I check this site less and less because 1. the advertisements are ridiculous. Its gotten so annoying, and 2. the gay "sassyness" is unbearable. It's not even sassy jokes you're making anymore, you're just being lame while attempting to be funny. Who is your audience Perez? It's like you used to be malicious (remember, THAT attitude made you popular, not this one) and now you are at the other end of the spectrum with really cheesy jokes. Find some middle ground, dude.

Anyway, glad the Riddler is not the protagonist of this movie. We needed someone like Bane who could compete with Batman mentally AND physically.

WOW. Your're getting about as reliable as Fox news. Where do you find this crap? Teen magazine? Chris Nolan never wanted the Riddler and he would never put Leo in a movie opposite Christian. Why? He has respect and admiration for Christian. Leo was not so well liked after Inception and his cardboard acting and I'm so full of myself attitude. Besides, Chris Nolan looks like Leo's much better looking brother.

Wow, really? I know some people have already stated this, but christopher didn't say that, warner brothers did, and chris was not with that. Dude serioulsy? Where do you get your information at? Wtf? That's very dumb
