Perez, I think the budget and the shooting schedule might have something to do with the season only being ten episodes. Hopefully, they will get more money to have a longer season. I'd love to see a 13 episode season.
Re: lemonbird – On the whole, I like the short seasons of GoT. It keeps the storytelling tight and prevents self-indulgent navel-gazing scenes that add nothing to the story. Of course, I suspect you are right about the budget constraints as well.
It was okay this season. It is not as good since Jason Momoa, and Sean Bean is no longer on the show. Thank GOD for Peter Dinklage. Dary's was boring this season.
