Another tragic loss this weekend.

Richard Dawson, who starred in Hogan's Heroes and hosted Family Feud, passed away last night at the age of 79 due to complications from cancer.

His son, Gary, says in a statement:

“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my father passed away this evening from complications due to esophageal cancer. He was surrounded by his family. He was an amazing talent, a loving husband, a great dad, and a doting grandfather. He will be missed but always remembered…”

So sad.

Our heart goes out to all of his family, friends, and loved ones during this time.

May Richard R.I.P.

I loved his performance as the "bad guy" in the Arnold Schwarzenegger film The Running Man. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out!

    RIP, loved watching his show.

My first cousins were on this show a long time ago and had a blast, said he was just a terrific person.

Yes, it's sad…and while he may have been nice on the show, at one time, he was a tyrant who held out for more money which eventually caused the show's demise. He was basically a prick and caused many headaches for producers.

A Very Class Act…and REAL Talent!
