MTV's 2012 Movie Awards Were Friggin' Awesome!!

2012 MTV Movie Awards Elizabeth banks Josh Hutcherson Channing Tatum LMFAO

It. Was. Sweet.

If that rock you've been living under doesn't have cable TV, let us be the first to tell you about the ahmaaazingness that was Sunday night's 2012 MTV Movie Awards.

Bottom line, Twilight and The Hunger Games took home pretty much everything that wasn't nailed down.

Russell Brand was an effective MC and, while his jokes weren't always side-splitting funny, his British accent never failed to charm.

Emma Stone is already one of the biggest names on the planet at the wee age of 23 and, while MTV marked her achievements with a Trailblazer Award, her peers took gave her a HIGHlarious roasting.

Christian Bale and friends unleashed a new Dark Knight Rises trailer and Oh-Em-Gee that thing is sweeter than triple chocolate fudge cake! Anne Hathaway is so effing adorable as a scantily clad cat-burgular!!

Speaking of trailers, MTV unleashed the very first Perks of Being a Wallflower trailer and this flick will be totes cute!!!

Johnny Depp accepted the Generation Award in a highly unusual fashion — he strapped on a guitar and jammed on stage with The Black Keys!!

Whaaaat?

And, yes, Charlie Sheen was there with all the Courvoisier and cocaine a "winner" would ever need.

It was a terrific night of silly fun… but don't feel TOO bad if you didn't tune in because you can ch-ch-check out the complete list of Golden Popcorn recipients right here.

The rock I live under not only has no cable, but it also has no television. It is no excuse to be uninformed. As my granddaughter mentioned - "Too much television will rot your brain." What a wise little kid.

OMG! It was soooooo BAD! The jokes were bad. The presentation overall was bad and it was visually displeasing. Everyone was awkward and didn't look like they wanted to be there. End of story. That awards show was a waste of 3 hours.

Personally I thought it was bad. The jokes weren't funny, it was overall just awkward, Russell Brand was horrible, and the four good movies split the vote so much for Best Movie that Twilight snuck in and won it.

    It was fucking horrible…..

agree with most of the comments. it was horrible. perez knows it too but since kat graham was on the red carpet he needs to pump up the fake praise even more this time

it def seemed like EVERY celeb that was there wanted to be somewhere else. russell is NOT FUNNY. when will MTV learn? STOP HAVING THIS IDIOT HOST! all that was heard during his monlogue was people clearing their throats and crickets chirping…..as it is EVERYTIME russell brand hosts. and honestly….harry potter, twilight, hunger games…..its not even fair to nominate other movies.

I feel like MTV is paying you to say good things about them.

I do not get this channel, just had to downgrade my Directv package to the cheapest they had, heck I do not even get CNN. But I can live with it, as it cuts my monthly TV bill in half.
