Watch The The Bourne Legacy's First TV Spot!

| Filed under: Matt DamonFilm FlickersJeremy Renner

Some people are having a hard time accepting a Bourne movie without Matt Damon, but we're convinced Jeremy Renner can pull it off.

Check out the first television spot (above) for The Bourne Legacy, the fourth installment of the espionage franchise which features Hawkeye trading in his bow and arrow for a gun and Rachel Weisz.

We'll see on August 3 if audiences and critics will accept Aaron Cross as their new favorite rogue CIA agent.

It doesn't have that realistic setting that the first one had. Looks like another big budget Hollywood Movie, which is okay for this generation of transformer watching Michael Bay loving mothafuckas! I miss you Stanley Kubrick I miss so much.

You can throw any role on Jeremy Renner and he will pull it off. This is a real actor we are talking about. An underrated actor. Matt Damon, you should watch this movie!

They should have called it something else, because it is something else. Matt Damon IS the Bourne Legacy. If Matt were in it, I would go see this movie without hesitation.

Gotta agree, Matt Damon is Jason Bourne. Have not seen all the movies but enjoyed the ones I did see and I normally do not like action movies.

jeremy is a total butter face…I do not get his appeal at all…he acts the same in all his movies too…no range….matt damon is not easy to look at either…thank heavens for Rachel Weisz…she is worth looking at and totally commands the screen…Just sayin.

can't wait! I love Jeremy Renner
I'd bet he'd be more convincing in this role than Damon was in his. 2012 is proving to (potentially) be a bigger year than past year's with the Oscar nods.

I "essentially" came here to watch a commercial. Then I am forced to watch another commercial before I can see the commercial I came here to see…smh
