What an unexpectedly specific exit strategy!
Long time Smiths frontman and longer time solo pop artist Steven Morrissey is calling it quits soon!
The 53 year-old vocal legend reiterated in a recent interview that he still plans to be retired by the ripe old middle age of 55.
I am slightly shocked to have gone as far as I have… I’ve aged a lot recently, which is bit distressing for me. The body changes shape and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Tell that to Prince! That dude hasn't aged in decades!!
So what will Morrissey do after he hangs up his microphone??
He honestly doesn't think it will ever get to that point!
He continued:
"We will all probably be blown up by the Syrian government soon, anyway, so it hardly matters in the great scheme of things [laughs]."
Yikes!
