"Ghost the Musical" is an amazing show to see. The "little bit of performance time" seen by Tony viewers was a train wreck and whoever staged it should be fired as it will certainly hurt ticket sales to the actual show. First, it opens with Molly singing "Unchained Melody" which she does NOT sing in the musical. Then, it gave a very odd VERSION of an original song from the show at the end of Act 1. Not only did the lead who plays Sam seem to flub the first line, the actor who plays Carl has his mic turned up too high so he was drowning out the leads. They were singing on top of each other, they were not staged as they are in the show and it looked as if all three actors were confused as what they did at the Tony's was NOT part of the actual show, which I had seen just the night before. The actual number is breathtaking… what these fine actors were asked to do during the Tony's was a 3 minute mess that could damage box office numbers for the musical. Shameful!
