What the Hell is this? Reference please. Otherwise, this is ridiculous.

Re: SLFX – Yes, a little context would help.

  3. 3

So I know C. T. is from South Africa, but need more context for G. Paltrow.

It's poking fun at Gwyneth's tweet about 'real n*ggas' on the stage- her reference to the song that was being sung. Doesn't really fit though- as she wasn't claiming to be African. :-/

It's poking fun at the recent scandal about Gwyneth using the modified N word in a tweeted photo of herself with performers on stage singing the song about it. Apparently she's not supposed to do that. This picture, though cute, doesn't fit as she wasn't claiming to be African.
I tried to post this comment before - but I typed the modified N word out with a star for an 'i' and it still wouldn't post… so I'll try once more this way. Stupid filters.

Ahhh ok, no stupid filters.. just stupid loooong time lag.. ugg

It's actually in reference to a campaign called 'I Am African' that Gwyneth and a couple other celebs did last year. I couldn't resist making this because it just sounds so very ridiculous, haha. We totally get the point she's trying to make, but I take every opportunity to call out her pretentiousness.

The first pic is from a real ad campaign for Keep a Child Alive. Then the pic of Charlize is making fun of her, because Charlize really is African. And I don't know who the last guy is (cause I'm a moron) but I'm guessing he's African as well. The end.

Well genetics wise - we all came out of africa (how we came to be there tho is a topic of debate that I dont want to get involved in!)

And I believe the guy is archbishop desmond tutu…

Charlize may be of African origin but there is absolutely no hint of that in her accent anymore. I saw an interview of hers from a couple of weeks ago and she sounds 100% american now so she can't be that proud of her roots as an african accent is incredibly strong and difficult to lose.

  12. 12

incredibly disrespectful. Hope whoever made this gets sued

  13. 13

Omg get over it… she didn't even say the word. :/

Re: Southcoaster – Charlize said in interviews that she adopted an American accent because when she was starting out in the industry she wasn't getting jobs with her South African accent.

Charlize will always be proudly South African.
