Great work, they really came with a winner here, with great song writing, big song hooks, and great music production.

  2. 2

All of the songs kind of sounds the same… :/

  3. 3

I love it. Not embarrassed to say so. He is our new Justin Timberlake (since there's virtually no hope for him to do that kind of music again.)

  4. 4

    Sounds pretty good!

  5. 5

Has Timberlake all over it. He'll start playing the guitar too.

Re: lightsoutnyy – : Actually, Justin Bieber does play guitar, he also plays drums, and piano. He has been playing drums since about age 3. He's a soloist and multi-instrumentalist. By the time he is 22, if he continues on this path, he will be one of the most respected artists in the world.

justin biever is a part of a machine, one that is manufactured and I do not believe he has the staying power to go on and be anything more than just one more teen idol that will fade away, grow up get married and then come back and redo his old hits. Right now he has a lot of backing but like most teen idols, his fans will grow up and get into real music or rediscover the greats who were true rock and rollers. Fans seldom stay with their teen idols once they start dating or start their careers after school. Justin Biever will be dropped "that fast" once his popular starts to slip. It has happened time and again but I won't bore you with all the people who were huge teen idols that are older now and struggling to maintain some kind of career.

Re: sskiles – : People said that Justin would be done already, now look at him, he is still here and going stronger than ever, and I am a real musician saying this. I have talked to many musicians, those with skill levels far greater than mine, and they all say the same about Justin, that he is the real deal, and we are industry people say this. BTW, we have no ties with Justin, though his story is very much like many I know, as far as him starting-out very young playing an instrument, and bonding with the love of making music and performing. Usually these wunderkinds really begin to do amazing things by age 21 or 22, musically–churning-out very original music and sound. You'll recall Alanis Morrissette? Well, in Canada, she was a teen idol ala Justin, before she changed her music and style and became a respected alternative rock icon and writer/vocalist worldwide. Justin, I expect, will one day, show us another side, that side.

Re: musicjunkie1993 – : Justin's new album sounds like a transitional piece, from teen idol, to something else. This is a deliberate transitional album, so expect something leaps ahead, in terms of a image and sound change that will take place just one or two albums from now. What that sound will be, I haven't a guess, but I do know there will be a maturing, and a metamorphosis that will have people talking–where the boy becomes a man, and the teen idol becomes a true artist of his own fashionings.

  24. 24

Based on the samples, every song sounds the same. It lacks originality. But what do you expect? He's manufactured. He's eventually going to fade out. I have a feeling that this album will do slightly well, like probably sell 200K in its first week and then sales will drop in its second week. That's just a prediction. I'm not saying it's going to happen. It's a never-ending cycle of teen idols. The production sounds shitty and redundant. I don't understand why Big Sean, Drake, Ludacris, and Nicki Minaj are on this album too. It seems really out of place and awkward.

  25. 25

Unfortunately Zip, he will not last nor does he have the staying power. Right now he has a lot of support from big names in the music business and for now he is a money maker but no matter what; he is just a teen idol. His fans will out grow him and by the time the next tweenies are older they will have found a new teen idol. He will only be useful to the big names that realize that by cashing in on Justin while the little girls love him will benefit him and they are doing their best to keep him relevant but the first time he makes a record and it hits the skids, well; history has shown that good friends are first to jump ship." I do not want to list the endless teen idols who all thought they had the staying power and some were much greater artist than this kid.

Re: gwen01 – : Really? Look at what happened with Usher, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, and Chris Brown. They have all survived the teen-idol tag, and gone on to be successful performers as adults, and the same is true of Michael Jackson well before them, the most successful artist of all-time, BTW. , so I think Justin Bieber is the very good position of transitioning well to adulthood, and bridging his fame to a four-quadrant audience, meaning the entire family audience, ala Michael Jackson. Only time will tell, but there were people who even thought Jody Foster would always be a teen idol, and now she is a respected mature actress and a director.

Re: musicjunkie1993 – : Actually, the samples sound top of the line, but I have a trained ear. Most people listen to music these days via Earbuds, Beats By Dre, or via computer speakers that are not the best. Beats By Dre disguises true sound and gives you false audio imaging, where as Ear Buds and most computer speakers just give a terribly flat-sound, one that consumers have become use to as a norm for their MP3 listening. You need to listen on very good stereo or car speakers, but from my professionally trained ears, the production and mixes sound great.

  28. 28

Re: Zip – It really doesn't matter how bad the speakers or stereo is, I still think the production is generic.
