Ed Sheeran's freshman album + debuted on American iTunes Monday night, and in less than 24 hours has secured the throne at NUMBER ONE!!

AND Taylor Swift is totally pimpin' out her new bestie! The sunny siren tweets:

    Okay music, but definitely overhyped, like Bieber pimping out Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" only to have it perform better than his song "Boyfriend," but Ed won't see anywhere near Taylor's U.S. success.

    Ed will have success in the US , just wait for it ! He's gonna be big ! He's gonna be so big , he's gonna be like Taylor ! Taylor right now is so big . And she's here to stay , she was big when Jonas brothers were big and she was big when justin was big and she's big now when 1 direction are big ! She's one of the best artists of this generation and so as Ed SHEERAN ! He has great writing abilities ! And his voice is amazing too

    Re: KKP – umm that is Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), Ed just used him in the video because they're friends and are ginger etc for the video.. he's the one 'Ron' is obsessed with!! (like the pictures he uses etc)
