Disney is certainly pleased The Avengers is the third most successful movie in the history of all known universes but they aren't content looking up the ladder at James Cameron’s rear-end.
There’s a persistent rumor circulating that Disney/Marvel might release assemble a Director’s Cut of Joss Whedon’s magnum opus to satiate die-hard fans and top Titanic and Avatar in the record books.
We know what you’re thinking, the current theatrical version of the superhero epic is already longer than a flight from New York to Chicago!!
How could there possibly be anything left on the cutting room floor?
It turns out the first cut Joss submitted to the studios was over three hours in length!!
What!?! We want need to see that one!!
Do you think the shawarma scene is extended?? LOLz!
Seriously, we COMPLETELY support the idea of a re-release.
Especially if the result is an extra half-an-hour of the bootilicious ScarJo or hunky Chris Evans prancing around in latex!!
