Even if she's gone for a little while, she's never too far away to bust back in and reclaim that throne!
If it isn't ridiculous enough that Adele's incredible sophomore album, 21, has not left the top ten of the Billboard 200 album chart in 68 weeks since it was released back in February of 2011, our Goddess has once again climbed to the number one spot this week for the 24th TIME by selling 75,000 copies!
That's right, she beat out Alan Jackson, The Beach Boys, AND Neil Young, who all debuted new albums!
And while the country singer's Thirty Miles West was close behind at number two with 73,000 copies sold, it was most likely the NBC special Adele Live in London from June 3rd that buoyed it over with 2,000 more sells!
Amazing! And we doubt it's going to change anytime soon!
So keep that in mind, artists who snag the #1 spot from her - you are winning the battle, but gurlfriend will ALWAYS win the war!
