Al Pacino Says 'Hello' To His Little Friends Broadway!

We ADORE this play!!
David Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize winning Glengarry Glen Ross was a Broadway hit in the '80s before they adapted the dark, depressing story into a 1992 feature film.
Al Pacino starred in the movie, earning an Oscar nomination for his role as Ricky Roma — the slick and successful salesman at the top of the food chain.
And now Pacino wants to bring it back to the stage!!
This time, he will play a down-on-his-luck Shelly Levene — the struggling salesman willing to do anything to save his job.
Jack Lemmon portrayed Levene masterfully in the film, so these are big roles to fill.
This newest stage rendition will be helmed by director Daniel Sullivan, who already worked with Pacino on The Merchant of Venice!
This is a phenomenal script, a veteran director, and a great cast so far — we're totes excited to see how this all plays out, LOLz!!

Never thought I'd see the day when Al Pacino was in PH…he is WAY to talented to be on here!
A gay guy waxing enthusiastic about the theater … what an idiotic cliche. What makes this so funny, other than you always acting like a gay stereotype, is that you know as much about the theater as you do about the music industry. You're probably one of those dreadful people who always has to act like he knows everything and is a loud talker around other people. You need attention this badly that you have to fake Broadway knowledge? You're pathetic.
It makes me fear, Sir, I lose the way!
- Be closing, just always be closing
- yes yes yes, Sir, hurray! but you're falling like that,
fall fall fall in love!
- be closing, just always be closing
- but I'm landing, Sir!
- that's all, that's all
- but that's the land, Sir!
- just fall
it’s a question of responsibility, links between humans even with the aliens, yes Al Pacino
-may be, we should presume some things. That’s what I did:
Al Pacino Special
IT’S A DIALOGUE STYLE I’M HAPPY TO CREATE!
*****
I take you in my sanctuary
just stop the rain
my love will take your pain your pain
just stop the rain
my fear of darkness will shield the life and all forces of hell
all forces of hell will fire
life will be a little sacred chain
just stop the rain
*****
It makes me fear, Sir I love you!.
Just stop the Earth, it quakes?
No no no no, Sir,I just love you!
It’s your pain, your pain…
Don’t make me quake, Sir I love you!
Just stop the rain…
I’m all so wet, Sir I love you!
Just stop the rain.
*****
- Don’t tell me that I am the only person to see the sky
- just try just try
- I feel alone
- but why?
- rain is a tears of sun, you know
- but just stop the rain
- I’m so wet, Sir, how just to do that?
- just cry
*****
Angel of night,
break down the wings from your face,
it will be more easy to fly
as I think
- then do it yourself
- no no no no, Sir,- it’s easy to cry!!
- then cry then cry
- my heart is broken, Sir!- no reasons to cry for us two!
- just try.
Kiss me there you have pain
I think I can have you as that
It's shared when you love me alone on your pony in the desert,
When years are heavy and ponies are heavy - it's shared,
When somebody hurt you and you come home and I kill him by your pain at the sunset which is going to burn us - it's shared.
