So You Think You Can Dance wins again

So You Think You Can Dance is the number one show of the summer! (On a network TV.)

Wednesday night FOX's dance competition show waltzed into first place ratings, AGAIN.

6.49 million total viewers, tuned in to see the show's St. Louis auditions episode. That number is a little down from last week, but still enough to beat out other top spot contenders.

CBS' new reality show about pet owners ,Dog in the City, improved in ratings by getting 5.59 million dog lovers to tune in.

Sadly, Kelly Clarkson's new freshman reality show Duets is still struggling. Only 3.93 million peeps watched Wednesday. (Don't expect a second season.)

This is a saaaad season for the networks!

Broadcast channels better start putting out some more competitive summer programing, or they're going to get whipped by the fabulous shows on cable!

I am confused, weren't they in Salt Lake Sity, not St. Louis.. or did I miss a week somewhere?

What a great night watching some cool moves and performances on my favorite show So You Think You Can Dance. I never planned to watch this show till my coworker at Dish got me hooked. I love watching all my primetime shows commercial free thanks to the new Auto Hop feature. I have the option to choose whether I want to watch commercials or not. With the touch of a button I can enable Auto Hop to skip them for me or I can do it manually. This only works on primetime shows a day after they have recorded. I’m going to be able to save a bit of money on batteries since I don’t need to continually use the fast forward button every ten minutes.

I don’t understand why CBS, FOX, & NBC execs don’t want us to enjoy commercial-free TV. I’m a DISH employee – AutoHop is great because you can easily watch commercial-free TV. Public Knowledge, a consumer advocacy group, is taking a stand for consumers by creating a petition that tells CBS, FOX, & NBC media to keep their hands out of your living room & DVR. Sign their petition to keep control of how you watch TV
