Charlie Sheen is aching for a real life.
He's grateful for all the gifts TV has bequeathed upon him, but the super celeb is ready for a change of scenery.
His latest show Anger Management hits FX later this month and, though he's excited to be working with his Pops, he also sees the light at the end of the tunnel.
In a recent interview with the New York Times, he spoke about life after his 100 episode Anger Management commitment. He said:
"And when this ends, I'm done. This is my swan song… There's a lot more out there to do than make-believe, you know?"
Like porn stars!! Right! Right?! … anyway.
"I've got a dream life as a direct result of television, you know? But at some point you just get tired of wearing somebody else's clothes, saying somebody else's words and working in somebody else's space."
We hear ya, Chuck!
If there's one gripe we have about your lifestyle it's that you try too hard to please other people; you don't march to the beat of your own drummer near often enough.
Wait. That doesn't sound right at all, LOLz!!
Nevertheless, it's your life, and you've made more than enough dough to say goodbye to Hollywood.
We encourage you to do WHATEVER makes you happy — no matter how strange it seems to the world around you!! And what exactly will make Charlie happy? He says:
"When I'm done with this business it's just going to be about soccer games and amusement parks."
Hmmm. That was far tamer than we expected.
