No way did she say that. She's never been critical of anyone else in interviews and she certainly doesn't promote herself at the insult of others. Either the article you read severly misquoted her, or you read it wrong.
Also, as others have pointed out, she finished a five-year run on Ghost Whisperer two years ago - I don't know where these "years of looking for a hit" have materialised from, because I certainly haven't seen any flops on her behalf since her last series ended in 2010.
