It's Not Just Lindsay! Two Liz & Dick Crew Members Hospitalized For 'Exhaustion'

| Filed under: Lindsay LohanFilm Flickers

Liz and Dick crew exhausted too

Lindsay Lohan passed out in her hotel room on Friday and caused all sorts of craziness on set when producers thought she might be seriously ill. It turns out she was actually just really, really tired and needed a power nap "after working 85 hours in 4 days."

Well, maybe the whole production team needs to take a nappy poo too because two other crew members from the hair department were sent to the hospital on Saturday for “severe dehydration and exhaustion.”

Hopefully LiLo feels a little less embarrassed to know that she's not the only one who is being affected by the grueling work schedule.

Sources are reporting that Lifetime is itching to finish filming and has the production running on 20-hour work days!

Woah! Aren't there some kind of labor laws being broken there?

Maybe they are making up for lost time from when Lindsay accidentally smacked the rear end of an 18-wheeler, but producers should consider giving their crew a break before everyone starts dropping like flies.

No. Lindsay is going to end up in jail or hospital very soon, and I want the fucking movie to be finished, edited and published as fast as possible.

So they were all on a bender, not just Lilo. Know what? Hair, makeup, and other crew all booze (and drug) it up too.

Sometimes movie sets do require grueling, exhaustive hours. Those hours are usually done by the crew: lighting, set, stunt, photography. Actors rarely have what normal people call "grueling" hours on set — especially for a Lifetime network made-for-tv movie. This isn't on the set of a Bourne flick. This exhaustion crap is BS.

Agreed - this "exhaustion" line is total crap and just a way to cover Lohan's BS. These are adults - they don't know about drinking water/ice tea/what ever to stay hydrated? There is always something to drink on a movie set, so this just doesn't add up. Also, if Lohan was soooo exhausted, why wasn't she resting all weekend instead of partying until well after 1:30a (some reports are until 4:30a) over the weekend - as reported in the NY Post and US Magazine?

Gee, I wonder if they totaled their Porsches, too!

How convenient. 20 hour days aren't unheard of in this industry but I highly doubt Lindsay worked 84 hours in 4 days. Notice how they initially said she worked from "7 PM- 8AM" initially in her rep's statement? That's 13 hours. A lot of people work 13 hours- I have, you have. They said she worked 13 hours on Friday which means she would have to have worked 20 PLUS every other day to amount to 84. 22 hours every other day doesn't even equal 80. Are you trying to tell me she and the crew worked a full day nonstop for 3 days in a row? Bullshit. Everybody use your heads.

Now let me get this straight… she was working 21 hours a day, for 4 days? I gotta call bullshit on that one. No film would do that to an actor. I worked on the Incredible Hulk in Toronto, and we once had a 20 hour work day. The next day, all morning shooting was cancelled and we had a 2pm call time (rather than 6am). It is illegal to work back to back days at over 20 hours. It just wouldn't happen on a union film.

No, it's called " coke, Hohan, dick and threesomes"

Ok, monkeyhateclean and CatAttack thank you for stating the facts that most people apparently aren't aware of in re: to movie sets. I just about fell off my chair when I read which crew members were suffering from exhaustion…I figured it would be several P.A.s or perhaps some alcoholic from the Grip department…but a hair stylist? Really guys? I have worked on some very high profile sets and have seen the payroll sheets…how does 30K sound for a "12 hour day"? Is that enough to make your blood boil. Now, not only do these women feel that they are truly more important than the actress…but they are always feisty divas who have chilly a/c in their hair and makeup trailers. They do absolutely no heavy lifting and they are such elite crew members that they have P.A.'s and other servants and assistants bringing them whatever they want, whenever they want. They are some of the rudest people on set (almost as bad as the camera department!) and most over-paid! The only reason for any hair personnel on the set of this JOKE of a movie is for reasons that have already been stated on this forum…drugs drugs drugs…DUH!

This is complete BS. The friend I have who is working on this movie works very closely with the hair and makeup people and says no one went to the hospital for anything. According to them, this was leaked by someone associated to Lindsay to make it seem like the conditions are grueling, when they're not. Lindsay is apparently the one causing all the delays on the days they have to work long. From what I hear, she shows up late, doesn't know her lines, and has terrible delivery. Guess they're having to do take after take after take. Furthermore, plenty of people have worked in much worse conditions, on more difficult movies, for longer lengths of time. If she can't deal with it, she shouldn't be acting. The supposed 20 hour day consists of filming for maybe an hour, having a 4 - 5 hour brake, filming for another hour, taking another 4 - 5 hour brake. Not difficult at all.

Re: lahrry – This isn't even true. No one went to the hospital. More Lohan team BS. They lie as often as possible to try and paint her in a better light.
