True Blood Still Killing??

| Filed under: Business BlitzTrue Blood

True Blood ratings vs nab

Last week True Blood's season 5 premiere sucked up all the viewers from basic cable and broadcast TV.

Did they do it again for episode two??

Is Sookie a fairy? Of course they did!

Aside from the 15.5 million sports fans watching the NBA playoffs, and the 9.6 million old people that tuned in to watch the snoozefest 2012 US Open Golf Championship — practically EVERYONE and their mom was watching Vampire Eric, and whoever else is on that show.

According to ratings, 4.42 million viewers tuned in to HBO to see the fangers (And probs like, 9 million more downloaded it illegally.)

The show was the third most watched show on cable Sunday, aaaand it scored the highest demo rating of the night!

Congrats y'all! SOOKEH!!!

I can't believe people still watch this show. I was a fan during seasons 1-3 but last season was just awful. All my friends amd I stopped watching. It just got ridiculous.

@sick_girl last season was the best of them all imo

I'm not digging the second episode, the creator has really steered away from the books. What hes creating doesn't really mesh well and all these twists and turns just seem to be made up as he goes. Maybe next season he will steer the story back to the books cus thats how we love Sookie. Charlaine Harris is awesome.
