Voice UK Tour Canceled, Nation Barely Notices

Will I Am Robbie Williams UK Voice

This is embarrassing for pretty much everyone involved!!

The Voice UK Live was forced to cancel their post-season concert tour because of abysmal ticket sales.

A spokesperson revealed through a statement:

"Unfortunately, The Voice UK Live has been cancelled due to lack of ticket sales… Customers are advised to contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds."

This is somewhat shocking, considering early episodes drew 10 million viewers a pop!!

Interest waned as the show wore on, however.

Season champion Leanne Mitchell recently released a single — a cover of the Whitney Houston classic Run to You — and it couldn't even crack the UK Top 40!!

When a reality champion capitalizes off the recent death of a legendary celebrity and her single STILL can't generate any interest — it's time to go back to the drawing board.

We wonder whether celebrity judges will.i.am, Jessie J, and Tom Jones will return??

there is a lot of talent on the voice uk!!! absolutely astonishing compared to the voice in the us… they could probably even beat out american idol winners. vince kidd would do sooo well, here, he's one-of-a-kind and super talented!!! i also really like becky hills.

Maybe if Robbie Williams or Wi- Li- AM (Photo above) was on the tour they would make massive ammounts of money. Other wise, I think they've had it. Why show the picture just to confuse the Americans who haven't a clue who was who on that show? The UK gets most US shows but for some reason they don't like to share theirs or maybe the US market isn't interested. I for one would love to get the UK and Aussie shows. Why is it that almost their entire line up is US programs and we get nothing. Not eveyone in the US can't understand other English speaking accents FFS. Sorry so long but JMO. Come on Perez, pull the strings and let us have some UK shows. Not just reality. They've got some good ones over there. One way street it is, most US shows go over there with no shows in return. grrrrrrr

Re: lestweforgetBarbie – Really? I would love to be able to see this. Just wonder why the US refuses to do waht it takes for us to share your great shows. And great they are. Eastenders, etc just so many. Love the UK. Well, it's my roots so I guess thats why.

the BBC never mentioned Leanne's winning single being announced ie, what it was, when it was out. so that flopped, and the tour was hardly ever talked about on the show. no wonder no one knew about it.
I for one cannot wait for the new series as I loved it. shame many of the press in the UK slated it every opportunity they had.
