The Reason Winnie Cooper & Her Husband Didn't Live Happily Ever After

Danica McKellar Winnie Cooper reason for divorce

If only real life could be as magical as The Wonder Years.

We were heartbroken to hear Danica McKellar, the actress who played the adorable Winnie Cooper, filed for divorce a few weeks ago.

Like so many others, she cited "irreconcilable differences," but it turns out the REAL reason was that music composer Mike Verta wasn't bringing home the bacon! A source weighing in on the split said:

"Danica felt that she was doing all the work. She was bringing home the bacon so he could sit around and work on his music. She got tired of carrying more than her fair share of the load – especially after having their son, Draco, nearly two years ago. That put a terrible strain on the marriage, and it finally collapsed."

The economy is tough right now, but everyone needs to figure out a way to provide for their family so we understand where she's coming from.

We're sorry to hear things didn't work out, Winnie. Your real-life Kevin Arnold is out there waiting for you somewhere!

Newsflash! Winnie and Kevin had a really crappy and tumultuous relationship when they were together… And by the time they were adults, they were married off to other people. Magical Wonder Years endings my ASS.

Look, over the past 5 years, I have witnessed numerous men lose their marriages over them running into career trouble, I mean, near instantly–every man that was having serious financial issues because of the economy? What is marriage anyway, just a form of prostitution, because when it seems that you run-out of cash, or a good position, career wise, the women disappear also? It really doesn't seem to be worth it, the whole idea of marriage. What happened to this being about love, loyalty, integrity and faithfulness? The truth is, it is really all about being there to mooch off of the man in the relationship, but if his health goes down, and or, his worth…due to the economy, or otherwise, these chicks, most of their greedy asses, are gone…and it is sad.

Men have been completely supporting women since our existence. Suck it up and deal with it you bimbo.

Re: Zip – All women are prostitutes its just to what extent. Women get involved to get taken care of, if and when that stop happening they are gone exactly like you said..But I thought women were strong, smart and independent? Whenever I hear feminists say that shit I want to punch a baby..Considering most women, or most of those strong and independent women still expect MEN to pay for the dates…
