American Idol's Jessica Sanchez Joining The Cast Of Glee??

American Idol + The Glee Project = REALLY?!?!

Rumor has it last season's American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez is in talks to sing on FOX again!

Supposedly, the pretty young songstress is gonna be on Glee for a handful of choice episodes!

According to a source:

"The plan would be to have her [Sanchez] join the cast midway through the first half of Season 4, after she completes her duties on the Idols Live summer tour."

As of now, producers have invited the 16-year-old CA girl on the show for 4 episode story-arch. Obvi, that can be extended if she does awesome.

Gawd knows McKinley High can use another tiny belter now that Rachel Berry has fled to NYC!!

Wonder how all those kids fighting for a part on the show over on The Glee Project feel about the would-be Idol invading their turf?? And is there any room for the original cast to come back?! The choir room is starting to sound CROWDED!

    It is good to have constant changes. I have watched Glee several times. There are many gays and lesbians featured but no bisexuals yet. Since the producers seem to want to expose our young people to gays and lesbians why not bis?…There are many good songs. Having new characters in the show would be a way to generate renewed interest…I like Mercedes' voice best. I can take or leave the others.

    This is a WIN-WIN situation for both Glee and Jessica. Glee will instantly gain millions of Jessica's youtube followers and Jessica will sell more of her debut album thanks to this huge TV exposure. I admire Glee producer for making this brilliant business move. I can't wait to watch the show and buy Jessica's first album.

    I have watched a few episodes of Glee. There is some really good singing especially from Mercedes, Santana and Quinn. What I don't like the show is that Racheal is always hogging the limelight. Maybe now there will be someone who can open her mouth bigger to compete with her.
