Chris Pine Talks Fifty Shades Again! Is He Legit Interested In Playing Christian?

Not so fast with those handcuffs!

Even though Chris Pine recently mentioned that he may be interested in taking the role of Fanfiction Edward Christian Grey in the big screen adaptation of 50 Shades Of Grey, the actor would now like to clarify his comments a little further!

He explains:

“The only reason this came out is because I was asked on the red carpet in Las Vegas if I had read it, or if I was interested in it. Just as you do on red carpets as people throw questions at you, you try and answer as quickly as possible… but I don’t know anything about it other than I know many women that are reading the novels, and enjoy them very much. If it’s a good script… I’d take a look at it, but I don’t know anything other than that.”

Ha! Oh Chris, you big silly!

We knew this was just speculation, but we'd be lying if we said we weren't enjoying letting our minds wander with the possibilities of you in the Red Room of Pain! LOLz!

Just saying!

Now someone get him a copy of that script to see if he likes it or not! ASAP!

    When I read the books, this is EXACTLY who i envisioned to play the role of Christian. I hope he does it!!

    I read these books to see what all the hoopla was about,and I dont get it at all. I get that it was erotica,but come on! throw in just a little bit of plot in there.

    i think the character should be played by a unknown actor.. rather than already known A listers that way it will be mysterious and the actor can boost his carrer has well my opnion

    First Ian Somerhalder said he wasn't actively trying to get this role, even though he said he was, and now Chris Pine is changing his mind. What is going on? Who is gonna be next, Alexander Skarsgard? God, I hope not. He would be good as Christian.

    I have the perfect Christian. Josh Henderson , John Ross on Dallas. Ths is how I have envisioned Christian. He's good looking, has that bad boy persona, looks the age and he even has the copper colored hair.
