Will Dallas Survive It's Second Rodeo?

Dallas

We got some bad new for the Ewings!

TNT's Dallas reboot didn't fair so well in its second week!

Last Wednesday, the show debuted airing it's first two episodes and lassoing 6.9 million viewers. The premiere was SO good, it got higher numbers than ANY broadcast network show of the night.

However, the third episode of new Dallas only got 4.8 million total viewers…. BUT it was still the highest-rated cable show of the night.

Not bad! In fact, that's GREAT!

At this rate the reboot will last for maaaany seasons to come!

Yet your show got 800,000 and you said it slayed. Strange.

Haven't seen it but loved the original and watched it faithfully (at the time my late husband and I were doing a LOT of traveling into Dallas and staying a bit north as he was working on a consulting job in the oil patch). Love Texas, really nice food and people.

Loved the first 2 episodes, hope it continues. Classic 80's style primetime soap.

Um, it's still more than the kardashians who got 3. something million on their season premiere. You're so biased that it's starting to look corrupt. Just sayin'…

Was very impressed with the first 2 week shows. Have been hooked since the first rodeo many moon ago. Lots of irons in the fire and triple cross backstabbings make for a very interesting hour. Of course JR has been the man since I D of J eppisodes back in the 60's. Takes a licking and keeps on tickin. Texas is a whloe nother country. Gotta luv it dawlin.
