Legendary Composer Richard Adler Passes Away At 90

Sad.
Composer-lyricist and Broadway legend Richard Adler passed away yesterday in his home.
Adler was most famous for co-composing Pajama Game and Damn Yankees — both of which won Tony Awards for "Best Musical" and "Best Score."
He was best known for producing the entertainment for President Kennedy and President Johnson. In fact, Marilyn Monroe's iconic performance of Happy Birthday, Mr. President, took place during one of his productions — and it was probably his idea!
All of Mr. Adler's works have been entertaining people for generations, and will continue for many more to come.
His most famous song, Whatever Lola Wants, will undoubtedly live on forever as a staple of the time.
Richard will be missed — but he, and his work will NOT be forgotten!
R.I.P.!!
