We'll be waiting even LONGER to see Michael Bay's version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but at least Nickelodeon is introducing the reptilian heroes to an entirely new generation of fans in the meantime.
A trailer for the reboot of the classic series has been released (above) and it looks…well, it doesn't look great. However, we could just be bitter that the beloved animation we grew up with is no more.
Considering Pixar movies rule the world these days, we're not that surprised to see that Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo have become computer animated. We just wish it didn't look like a cheap video game.
Oh well. At least Shredder still looks pretty bad ass.
Hopefully today's generation of children fall in love with these characters just as much as we did when we were their age. This is one franchise we'd love to see make a complete comeback when it returns to television this fall.
