Chris Pine is asked about 50 Shades walking the red carpet at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, claims he'd be interested in playing Christian if the script were good! Salivation begins.

Alexander Skarsgard is "THE PERFECT CHOICE" for the role of Christian Grey! 100% sure of it (refer to his role as Eric Northman in True Blood!) Matt Bomer could do the part also (he's so dapper in White Collar). As for Anastasia Steele, I can see Emilia Clarke (check out her Daenerys Targaryen role in Game of Thrones) and Amanda Seyfried!

i think Ian Somerhalder would be perfect for the role, the way he plays ”Damon” fits the role of Christian Grey. However I have an idea in regards to the movie, What if you kept the Identity of Christain Grey a secret and on the cover of the movie where they have a masked ball at a charity function and christain Grey with his back to the camera looking at Ana who is looking at Christian (towards the camera but eyes on Christain) wearing a mask, It will be a huge anticipation to finding out who is Mr Grey, the first night will sell out and make history and the cast members and people involved in the movie will have to sign a NDA. I think Alexis Bledel or Alexandra Daddario will play the role perfect for Ana
Henry cavill is Christian Grey just look at pictures of him in a suit he is perfect in everyway he can dye his hair and in some pictures he has gray eyes. Just like the book says he is sex on legs!!!

In my opinion the only man that can be Christian Grey is IAN SOMERHALDER. I have read all three books and he is the only one I can picture doing the movie! He has all of Christian's characteristics and can bring women to their knees. If they don't cast him they don't know what they are doing. This would make him a even bigger star. I think he has a huge teen following now because of Vampire Diaries but, with this movie he would become a big time star! As far as Anastasia is concerned I think Lucy Hale or Emmy Rossum are the best picks. Sharon Stone is a great Mrs. Robinson:) Fingers crossed for IAN!

NO to Rob and Kristen for this movie! I loved them in Twilight but I think I'd rather see new faces on the screen especially for this kind of movie. Not a fan of Lucy Hale or Emma Roberts or Shailene Woodly to play the role of Ana either.
Henry Cavill hands down!
Henry has proven himself in this type of role as the smoldering hot, charismatic playboy in The Tudors as Charles Brandon. Moreover, Henry has all shown the versatility of his acting chops in his Films & other TV performances. Henry would nail it. He has the ability to create everything E.L. James paints of Christian Grey on-screen.
The chances of Henry taking the role however, while being the most iconic Superhero of all time, the "boy-scoutish" Superman is another question! If the sequel to Man of Steel was "Superman S & M", he'd definitely take it, don't you think?! lol

Askars is perfect for it, he has that cold brooding sadness about him and a fun side, his own real life privacy issues, love his voice. I keep picturing him in the role as I read it.
PLEASE DO NOT CAST Kristen Stewart. I can no longer tolerate her twitchy gestures. She's a horrible actress. Just because this trilogy is similar to Twilight, doesn't mean it should be Twilight part 5,6,7, etc!!!

Lindsay Price would have been perfect as Ana but she's too old now, her clumsiness and naivete in Eastwick was played really well, she can also pull of smart mouth brilliantly, hope they cast someone like her.
Matt Bomer for sure. Ana has to be someone not known for her role already, sorry Bella Swan. Kristen is Bella, not Ana too. Anne Hathaway is to pure, we need a naughty girl, someone new. Not sure who yet.

There are so many good choices for Christian it's so hard to choose! But I think my Christian Grey has always been Ian. He just has that something magnetic that draws you in even though you know you shouldn't just like Christian does. And those blue eyes are a major plus!
As for Ana maybe Mila Kunis? or Amanda Seyfried would be good. I dont know but I hope they make a good decision and soon! I'm dying to find out!

When i read the books I straightaway pictured Zoey Dechannel as ana but couldn't put a face to Christian. i think Zoey is perfect for the role because of her bright blue eyes and brunette locks and she's got that 'shyness' the character ana exude. I would love Henry Cavill to play christian, he could definitely pull off the dark tousled hair look. right im already swooning at the thought of it

He has the strong jawline, the muscles, looks mighty fine in a suit, he has a smile that melts you, hes mysterious and he has that steely glaze down to a t! Cmon girls!! As for Ana.. Mila Kunis is too in your face pretty, it needs to be somebody thats subtly beautiful.. Anne Hathaway is my vote she looks so pure..it would be an interesting transformation..

I would be so pissed off if Kristen Stewart plays Anastasia. Kristen is a terrible actress who plays nothing but boring roles and always has a stupid look on her face. DIS-FUCKING-LIKE.
The characters of Damon and Christian Grey could not be more different. They're polar opposites. lol have you ven read the books? They're both badass characters but Damon is the annimated, sarcastic funny guy with all the one liners. Christian Grey is defined by his calm, collected, and uber serious demeanor (the way he calls everyone by their full names). I'm a huge Ian Somerhaler Fan but that does not mean i think he's right for this role. First off yes he's hot, but he is more of a pretty boy, where Christian Grey is described as this tall muscular "greek god". Ian Somerhalder couldn't be more different then Christian Grey physically. And in such a sexually explicit role, physicality really matters.
Isn't anyone concerned that Ian hadn't even read the books before he started talking about playing the part?? He's not doing it for the role he's just jumping on this huge fame bandwagon….who knows if he's even read the books at this point? And btw he only looks good in Vampire Diarie with the black hair. I disliked the book and I honestly think people should do movies about books that are considered classics or extremely good and I'm not really interested in this movie, but I confess I would see it, if Christian Grey is portrayed by someone so hot that I forget about what I think of 50 shades of grey quality and completely managed to also forget how worried I am for my generations tastes in books.
Alexander, Ian, Hemsworth are all good choices, but I confess that I would rather see Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Those eyes…

Definitely Alexander Skarsgard for Christian, he is a bit older than Christian is in the book but he could pull it off. Not only for looks, but for his voice. He has that low raspy type voice and can also play "quietly angry" very well. As far as Ana, Alexandra Daddario or Willa Holland would be amazing (as far as looks go, look them up though) I don't think they should cast any "big names" in it for Ana. Definitely NOT Kristen Stewart, she wouldn't be good in that role. They have to be able to convey emotion and she doesn't really do much of that.

All I can say is this: Christian Bale (he was made for this! their names are the same! Besides we all know Bale can touch into his dark side) or Ian Somerhalder (let's be honest, every girl who just looks at him would drool which is a characteristic that Grey has) for Christian Grey and for Anastasia Steele is ALEXIS BEDEL. Physically she's perfect and she totally has the whole 'I'm pretty but I have no idea of it' going on and she sort of has the awkward cute thing down to a T.
