Adele's Bisexual Boyfriend Heartbreak Inspired 19!

We had heard rumors that a couple tracks - Daydreamer, Hometown Glory - on Adele's debut album 19 were inspired by a boyfriend confused about his sexual identity…

But a new, unofficial biography by Marc Shapiro may provide some insight in to the REAL heartbreak that inspired such beautiful, soulful songs!

And yes, it apparently WAS a bisexual boy who caused our darling Adele so much pain - and ultimate success!

Shapiro reveals:

"One thing we know… Is that it was a first love gone terribly bad. Adele had professed her love and he did the same, she had known he was bisexual but, in the rush of romance, felt they could make it work. Four hours after laying their emotional cards on the table, the boy ran off with one of Adele's gay friends!"

Gaa! We can't even imagine the emotional turmoil Adele must have gone through…

BUT, this is a PRIME example of how events we believe to be utterly sorrowful and heart-tearing, can have SUCH a meaningful place in one's life!

Because who knows if Adele would have been fueled to create such genius musical constructions if someone hadn't provided her with raw, emotional material?!

Get inspired by Adele, and translate your hurt into something wonderful!

Correction: "bisexual" is not synonymous with "confused about his sexual identity"

  2. 2

If he's bi - it sounds like he's pretty much resolved on his sexuality. Not confused.

Meh, she has said before that the reason they broke up was because he cheated on her with another GIRL.

I think bi-sexual is fine…whatever floats your boat. However, I will never understand why a woman would date a bi man……just sayin. I have friends that are bi- but only date totally straight or totally gay or lesbian…who knows.

The "Set Fire to the Rain" music video basically says this same thing! It's gone viral on YouTube!

My daughter says that bi-sexuals just haven't chosen yet but they eventually do, perhaps that is where confusion,so to speak, comes in.

Another example of how Bisexuals are so misunderstood in the mainstream…

Rumor? This has been known that he was bi for a while. Go on adeles official website on the biography section. This guy took old news and made it dramatic to sell his unauthorized book. Notice how he didnt include a name? Naming her exes is almost just as big of a reveal cus Adele has debunked past theories. Also, I don't think hometown glory is about a guy, it's about ummm HER HOMETOWN OF LONDON!

Seriously saying bisexuality is the same as being "confused about his sexual identity" is going against your work for the LGBT community. The bisexual community is so misunderstood. Just because someone dates a guy or a girl doesn't mean they date more "gay or straight" It is about who they love. It's transcending gender seeing more of who they are. I see too often the same bigotry and ignorance that the L and G's fight against happen to the B's and even more so the T's in our community. I'm disappointed for a "gay" blog to post such ignorance and allow for this conversation to even happen.
