Sounds like our favorite ginger-haired Brit Ed Sheeran is planning on
joining helping boyband One Direction out on their next album!
We previously told you that the boys announced they’d have a new album out by the end of this year and it sounds like they’ll be hitting up the studio this summer!
In a recent interview, Sheeran spilled that he’d be passing along two of his unreleased tracks for the 1D guys to use for album number two!
"I wrote a couple of songs when I was 17 that One Direction want for their next album. I'm going into the studio in August to produce the tracks for them.”
How exciting! Such a good move on both parts — 1D gets to work with a brilliant singer/songwriter and Ed gets the credits on an album that's sure to be a global success!
Don’t get too excited to hear a collaboration, though! Ed said “there's definitely a divide in genre,” so he won’t be featured on the tracks.
We can't wait to hear what he has saved for the boys, nonetheless!!
