DEAD AIRPLANE GUY ARRRGGEERHGHGHGH

WTF??

So there's this girl, right? She's from Sweden.

She wants to go to Tanzania. Like a normal person, she doesn't want to sit next to a dead body.

So she boards the plane, and the dude next to her is sweating, puffing, and convulsing — but at least he's not dead.

The plane takes off anyway, and now her seat mate is dead.

SHE THEN SPENDS 10 HOURS FLYING NEXT TO A DEAD BODY!!!

That shizz is cray!!

Here's what she said:

"Air hostesses were there all along, but the plane took off anyway. I asked to move, but they said there were no other places."

Why is a flight to Tanzania full?? Why would the dude WANT to fly in that condition??

Why did they still take off???

Anyway, she ended up sending a complaint letter to the airline, and they reimbursed half of her $1400 ticket.

And she's totally cool with that.

    To me the concern should be first and foremost that the plane should not have taken off with someone ill in it. Even if it did, the minimum the pilot should have done is turned around to try to get the passenger to a hospital as soon as possible and at least attempt to save his life? How can you let someone agonizing, and die in your mid-flight plane and pretend nothing was happening. Now THAT is puzzling to me. What if that had been you, your better half, son/daughter, parent, friend?!?!?

    "Why is a flight to Tanzania full?" What an extremely ignorant and rude comment. Tanazania is a beautiful country and it is a very popular holiday destination, especially for people who wish to climb Kilamanjaro. Second of all there are probably not many flights each day from Amsterdam to Tanzania and so usually the few flights are normally full. I do not understand why a page such as Perezhilton, who has lately put a lot of focus on the damage of bullying and discrimination can write such an oblivious comment.

    Re: Antoniah – Due to safety the airplane can't land. With all the kerosene and passengers and freight, the aircraft is way too heavy to land. plus the pilots would have decided to contact the occ. They get a doctor and then they will decide whether it is an emergency or if there is no need to turn around. It sounds terrible but its actually the safest option.

    Not to be insensitive to the family of the dead man, but they would have had to do a lot better than refunding half of my ticket. I'm thinking total refund and first class on my return back to Amsterdam.
