Michael Jackson Memorabilia Tops Auction On The Third Anniversary Of His Death

On the eve of the three-year anniversary of his death, Michael Jackson memorabilia were the highest selling items at the Music Icons and Sports Legends auction.
Buyers paid $40,625 for the handwritten lyrics to his classic single Billie Jean and $50,000 for a 1984 Video Music Award that he won.
He's not the only dead celebrity still making bank. Elvis Presley's motorcycle jacket and pants sold for $41,600, while a Whitney Houston Grammy dress sold for $20,480 and a robe worn by Amy Winehouse in the music video for Rehab auctioned off for $34,375.
Madonna proved you don't have to be dead to be in demand though. A negligee she wore on her Blonde Ambition tour sold for $34,375 as well.
