Mitt Romney not going to donald trump fundraiser

According to Donald Trump, yes, Mitt Romney is joining him for dinner on Thursday at a New York fundraising event. According to Romney's spokesman, however, the Republican presidential candidate will NOT be in attendance.

Oh boy. Is the Donald making up his own alternate reality again? LOL!

We don't know who to believe, but just moments after Romney's camp declared that he would not be meeting with Trump this week, the Apprentice star tweeted:

Looking forward to the "Dine with Mitt and Donald" this Thursday. Can't wait to meet the lucky winner. @MittRomney

Umm…okay?

He's talking about a fundraising dinner taking place at the Manhattan home of stock investor Martin Zweig, which will cost the 50 people attending $50,000 a plate.

We hope guests aren't spending all that bank just to meet Romney because it doesn't sound like he's actually going. Spokesman Rick Gorka has said, "That won’t be happening this week."

At least we aren't the only people who are confused about this. Even the organizers have no idea what's going on! And if they do, they haven't made any clarifications recently.

The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.

Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:

"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."

That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."

She added:

"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."

Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...

As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
