This weekend marks the end of One Direction’s 2012 U.S.
infection tour and it sounds like the boys are ready for their second album!
The Brit-based boyband has from this Saturday until their next show in Connecticut on November 30 to churn out those new pop hits!
"We've been recording already, actually. When we came back from Australia, we had a couple weeks off and then we went straight into the studio to get cracking on the next album."
Sounds like the boys are promising some great tracks, with Niall adding:
"We wrote an absolutely cracking song that we're all kind of very excited about. … And then last week we were in L.A. and we had five days off the tour to record in L.A. so we recorded more there."
The group plans to spend the majority of July and August recording and finishing their sophomore release!
Directioners, watch out for September — that’s the deadline for 1D’s brand new single from the album! And no, as Niall cleared up, there's no such single titled Heartbreaker!
