Rupert Murdoch Might Be Played By Russell Crowe In An Upcoming Movie

No deals are in place yet, but sources are suggesting that Russell Crowe is in talks to win another Oscar play Rupert Murdoch in a movie.
The proposed film is based off of a memoir by Harold Evans, a British editor who resigned from Murdoch's Sunday Times due to "unacceptable pressure."
Good Times, Bad Times documents their tense 14-year relationship along with shady dealings between the Australian media tycoon and then-Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Although no script has been written (or writer hired, for that matter), a source has said, "You have to be brave to play someone like Murdoch. Russell can do it."
Colin Firth is rumored to be in consideration to star opposite Crowe as Evans and we hear that the film will also tackle News Corp's recent phone hacking scandal.
