Arsonist Commits Suicide In Courtroom By Popping A Poison Pill!

This is three parts strange, and seven parts very very sad!

When an Arizona judge passed down a guilty verdict for Michael Marin yesterday, the newly minted arsonist killed himself right there in the courtroom!!

As soon as the verdict was read, Mike took something out of his bag, ingested it, and quickly collapsed.

Did he pop a poison pill? Were bath salts involved?

Mike was caught climbing out of his flaming house in scuba gear and it's believed he tried to burn his mansion to the ground to collect insurance money!!

What a terrible ending, to an oddly disturbing tale.

    This is so wrong I refuse to watch this, you shouldn't post things like that on a website, I'm not even sure we should see this on CNN, the death of someone, ANYONE shouldn't be used for traffic on a website or to get an audience, we won't learn anything out of it, there's not purpose, it's just sad and wrong and yet you post this on your website.
    We go to supreme court because Janet Jackson had a nip-slip but this is ok…GO FIGURE!
    Maybe next time you'll show us the tape of someone being raped…Can't wait…

    Re: Lauren – How is it irresponsible and dangerous? It's not up to websites, the internet, TV, movies, actors, athletes to be responsible. We shouldn't have to be on our "best behavior" and promote responsibility for children. That is what parents are for. PARENT your child and teach him responsibility. Don't rely on others to do it for you. If you can lay on your back and do the deed, then follow up with it by being a PARENT.

    What I find so sad about this article is the fact that all this man did was try to collect money by burning his house down. Yea, maybe its not the best thing to do but its not like there haven't been worse things done for money. Mhmm( Kardashians). But to call him an arsonist… that's horrible. I thought this man was this horrible person before even reading because of the title. He definitely should not have killed himself but this should not have been twisted this way.

    I think that was great. He took control of his life and death. He experienced the tragedy of financial ruin, decided to take a chance to fix it through arson, and knew that if he was caught it was all over. I don't think he wanted to do any of the things he ended up doing. He was devastated and he was desperate. I can't say I blame him for any of it. Way to go, buddy! It took a lot of courage to take those risks. I commend him for going out on his own terms. I'd do the same.

    I believe the poster who said this was a good guy. Again, I understand completely why he did all those things that led to the end. That was very smart of him to have found something that could end his life so quickly. I wonder who he knows that helped with that. I just can't get over how happy I am for him. He basically said, "Screw you all. I'm doing things my way now." Yes, yes, yes! My hero.
