Glee's Cory Monteith Dishes On Finchel's Future!

It’s been little over a month since we watched the McKinley High class of 2012 walk across the stage and now, one of its stars is opening up on Glee’s upcoming season!
While Rachel Berry may be off to Broadway, Finn is honoring his late father by enlisting in the Army.
Actor Cory Monteith revealed that he wasn't surprised about his character's decision, which he found out mid-season!
Cory delved deeper into Finn’s storyline, stating:
"Finn would make a good soldier but I think he's still got a lot to think about — he still has a lot going for him outside of the Army. His heart is still with Rachel and I think he has a lot of reasons to not be in the Army as well. I think he'd be torn as a soldier."
We STILL can’t even bear the thought of Finn being whisked away from Rachel!
Cory went on to say that he hopes viewers of the show “root for the couple to reunite” and hopes that in the future, people will look back on Finchel as a “legendary couple in television.”
Well, we’d say they’ve already made their mark as just that! Finn and Rachel are totes the Winnie Cooper and Kevin Arnold of this generation!

I think they are a terrible couple. Rachel was meant to be married to the stage. She's far too independent for Finn's character. They are NO Winnie and Kevin!
Im so over this couple
Glad to hear it. I love Finchel.
i spit out my juice when i read "Legendary Couple" lmaooo, they had lots of potential but the glee writers fucked up anything legendary about Finchel.
I really like them as a couple. And I hope to see them together again. But I do think that both characters need to grow up a bit. I think with some better storytelling they have potential be a truly iconic couple.
Finn and Rachel are the worst couple on Glee. This last season proved that these two are toxic together. I wish they would just have them go their separate ways for good. And fyi, they aren't even close to being in the league of legendary couples. That's laughable.
I just think they're so boring. I liked them in the beginning, but with the whole marriage thing and the fact that they managed to have more screen time in an episode than other characters had all season and still be boring, I'm just really over it and I hope Glee focuses more on them growing as individuals. I'm much more interested in Rachel's drive and talent than her relationship with Finn.
They are the new Cory and Topanga…
Terrible. Couple. Worst on Glee in my opinion. They're awful for each other. I sure won't root for them to get back together.
"Legendary Couple" my ass…
Re: slschmit – Yey they are a great couple for television! it shows teenagers that when you find true love you do the right thing to care for the other person even by sacrifice. Go finchel
In my opinion they are a LEGENDARY COUPLE !!!!
)
it's true, they had a lot of screentime (and the wedding-storyline was a bit too much) but they are still my favourite couple on tv (and in real life
for season 4 i want to see some finchel-moments too … but i'm more focuse in Rachel's way to broadway !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ♥♥♥
I think Finchel are a legendary couple and can't wait to see the epic love journey that will arise next season. They're tethered, they will always find a way back!
<3
Nobody like Finchel. They better not be back together
I've got soul but i'm not a soldier? haha I think I hear a song comin' (;
