Green Day took a five year break in between releasing American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown, but the punk rockers are making up for it now.
Their newest album, ¡Uno!, will be released this fall on September 24 and fans won't have to wait much longer for another. The 12-track LP is the first in an epic trilogy of records.
Green Day will follow ¡Uno! with ¡Dos! on November 12 and then ¡Tré! on January 14, 2013.

The band has already been playing a number of their newest songs at live shows. If you haven't heard any of the material yet and are curious as to what you're in for, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong described the album by saying:
"We wanted something punchier, more power pop – somewhere between AC/DC and the early Beatles."

Oh Love will be ¡Uno!'s first single, which will officially hit the airwaves on July 16.
