Canada Day might've been yesterday, but we are STILL celebrating with a little Alanis!
Mz. Morissette played a six-song set during DirectTV's Guitar Center Sessions, which aired this past Friday! We previously showed you her performance of the classic Ironic, and now we have a NEW track!

In a recent interview, the singer explained her single, saying:
"This song touches on how I want to protect the freedom and safety of my son, as well as of my own very self."

Alanis' eighth album, Havoc and Bright Lights, which includes Guardian, will hit stores on August 28!!
