Katie Holmes' Held Back During Shady Scientology Audit Sessions!

Katie Tom Cruise Audit

And in today's super creepy Scientology news…

Reportedly, every so often, Katie Holmes partook in brainwashing auditing confession sessions while married to Tom Cruise…sessions she took part in because of her love for Tom.

In the Church of Scientology, auditing is used as a central practice where, “a practitioner is cleared of negative influences known as engrams in order to heighten spiritual awareness and access currently untapped potential.”

The auditor uses an electro-psychometer device to monitor the person, who “holds a metal cylinder in each hand.”

So basically, the e-meter seems similar to a lie detector test, only scientologists believe it can literally read people’s thoughts.

According to a source, whenever Katie would go in for her sessions, her father warned her to watch what she said, so she always held back and was definitely wary.

The source goes on to reveal:

“Katie is level headed and extremely smart. She was never completely committed to Scientology, but she participated because she truly was in love with Tom and she knew it meant a lot to him. Her heart just wasn't in it though, she was always guarded and careful during the auditing sessions with what she revealed."

Smart girl — especially since the sessions were always videotaped or audiotaped and in the Church of Scientology's possession!

Ex-high ranking Scientologist Marty Rathbun added:

“The Church definitely would have wanted to know Katie's every thought.”

For years, Katie’s family has been rightfully worried about the actress and Tom’s close ties to Scientology and now reading these reports, it seems pretty clear that Tom was just dragging Holmes along.

This is just all SO sketchy…wonder if those audio/video tapes will ever get leaked?!

We're so glad Katie and Suri made a run for it…!!!

You forgot the main reason for auditing. It is sold as a way to clear negative energy, but it is also a big money maker. New recruits pay out a lot of money for these sessions. It also preys on a lonely person's need for some attention. Having someone put all their attention on you, like in these auditing sessions, can give a person a real high if they don't get any personal fulfillment elsewhere.

Who are you to talk about what somebody believes in and call it creepy.

Re: Andreabbyy – It takes someone creepy to know something or someone else creepy, and seeing as how Perez is a huge creep, my guess is that he's an expert.

Re: rosebud99 – If scientology didn't make it's members pay for various services then I'd probably take it more seriously as a religion because I don't know very many other religions where you actually have to pay for the rituals.

This is why you shouldn't get with a partner who wants you to change your faith just to be with them. It may work on occasion, but most of the time it's hard for someone's heart to truly be into a religion that they felt somewhat forced to be in.

Re: Dmarie910 – Mormons and JWs expect 10% of your salary in tithe.

Re: Omniscient Gal – well then by your weird "logic" you must also be creepy.

Every legit religion has confession of one sort or another, however they DO NOT record the sessions nor hold them over your head in future extortion attempts. stupidology is a bad sci fi story, started by one of the biggest con men in the US, and continued by the leaders as a profitable ponzi scheme. The IRS needs to do a huge "audit" of the leaders and the org itself. Instead of holhing elestrodes in each hand, one up the ass and the other in the urethra would be good. simply search XENU on wiki for a quick recap.

Re: rosebud99 – yep that is how it's been sold to me. I think that they look for people who are feeling down, at low points in their lives, in other words they search for vulnerable defenceless people to take advantage of.

Re: beach girl – the part specific to her may or maynot be nonsense, but the basics about the procedure are absolutely TRUE

You want BRAINWASHING that helps rake in more money than Scientology could ever DREAM of? Consider the NIGHTLY NEWS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. Pretending to be unbiased "Complete Coverage" when in fact it is OWNED by Big Pharma and flat out LIES and REFUSES to report all the DOCUMENTED low cost natural cures for everything from AIDS to Cancer that would spell the death knell to the current religious like BLIND UNFOUNDED TRUST of American organized medicine.

Re: rosebud99 – Not only the Mormons but others as well, my sister belongs to a a born again church and I have gone with her a few times and actually heard the preacher say ' Jesus loves the 10%rs) I contribute what I feel comfortable with as a visitor.

Back on topic, I wish the best for Katie and Suri.
