Sadly, it sounds like the movie is right back in square one.
While signing autographs for fans at a recent event for his Crystal Head Vodka, Dan Aykroyd revealed that he is still adamantly trying to get Ghostbusters 3 made.
We last heard that Bill Murray officially turned down a role in the film, but now the two writers who were working on the script have moved on too!
Never fear, Ray is still here and he's hired NEW writers to get the job done. Here's what he said when asked about his passion project:
“We’ve got a new writing staff working on it now. It’s got to be prefect. That’s the whole thing. There’s no point in doing it unless it’s perfect. So that’s what we’re up to now.”
True that! It's not like he needs the money, so he can afford to take his sweet, old time. Although, we would like to see this sequel before our memory starts getting fuzzy from old age.
If perfection is Aykroyd's goal, than we say, "Take your time!" Just not TOO much time. Ha!
