Kristen Stewart Too 'Weird' For 50 Shades Role, Says Grey Author
Hey now! That's not nice! To her credit, Kristen Stewart has worked really hard on hiding her awkwardness. She barely ever bites her lip anymore!

As you might've heard, people are really invested in this 50 Shades of Grey book. It's sold a lot of copies, made tons of money, and caused just about everyone everywhere to speculate who should star in the leading roles when should the story be made into a film.
Naturally, the obvious choices (for some) are the actors who have already portrayed the muses of the tale on the big screen. Many are rooting for Kristen and Robert Pattinson to land the roles of Anastasia and Christian, but there is one person standing in the way of that wet fever dream…

The author of the fan fic turned erotica turned best-seller was asked at a recent U.K. fan event if she would be cool with Stephenie Meyer's choices to be Bella and Edward taking on her kinky creatures Ana and Christian. Her response is … disappointing, as she shared:
“I think it would be too strange ! It would just be .. Uggh weird!”

She is just innocent enough but still can be sexy. My list for Christian is huge. I just hope they don't screw it up with someone who is too old or awkward.

The inspired choice would be to consider Carly Rae Jepsen for the role. If she can act, and shows the same vibrant personality that she brings in her music video and interviews, well, I think this is the girl for the lead role in 50 Shades of Grey and its sequel book adaptations to film. She looks young enough for the role, looking like a naive teenager, or early 20 something, but she is 27. The smart move would be to cast someone her age and have them play younger, for public relations purposes–yet her clean image and public confusion over her age will make her seem virginal. Stewart already has Twilight, and is a tweaker in real-life, so it would be smart to cast a newcomer such as Carly Rae Jepsen.
She's got too much edge/mystery to be in this project. I would think that they are trying for a Carrie type from SITC…KStew is not that person.

Whoever thinks Kristen Stewart is a good actress needs to rent a movie with an actress that won an Oscar for that movie. She is so stiff and anxious. She did ruin every single Twilight movie. Just watching her act makes me nervous. Seeing her in interviews is embarrassing. She needs to pick a new profession….she is making a lot money due to the hype from twilight. Hollywood hires the cash cows sometimes, not necessarily the best actress.
I will never understand why ANYONE would think Kristen Stewart is a good actress. She's horrible, she makes me uncomfortable and there is absolutely nothing attractive about her. E.L. Ryan Gosling is the perfect choice to play Christian Grey. It is as if it was written for him. He is sexy , strong, confident, and an excellent actor. As far as the female lead not sure yet but is too much for Kristen Stewart to pull off successfully.

Perez Hilton, Robert and Kristen are not by any chance equal to box office gold. The only reason why it became a box office hit is because the book were actually popular even before it came out to the theaters. People with good eyes or simply good tastes and knows real talent know very well that the main actors in the Twilight movies didn't give the characters any justice. A lot of the fans were just carried away by their obsessions of the books.

I'm sick of all the losers hating on Kristen Stewart. Before Snow White and the Huntsman was released someone posted on a Deadline article about Dark Shadows that they knew someone who walked out of SWaTH. Either that person or another poster wrote that Snow White was the miscast film of the century. All terrible things to write before a film is to be released. I thought Kristen was good in Snow White and it's already made about 350 million in box office so the haters are losing in their endless campaign.
Kristen loves acting. She was totally committed to SWaTH and it shows. She has a good accent in SWaTH and she really committed to filming in cold Welsh Sea, riding horses, and doing the physical stuff. She also promoted the film by globe trotting throughout Europe and Mexico, doing endless magazine covers, doing endless interviews with journalists from all over the world. She got a lot of attention for her fashion choices while promoting this film. She is acting like a grown up. She's doing Cali next and then promoting a new fragrance for Balenciaga.
Except for the eye color, everything about Anastasia is Bella/Kristen. Duh! So I don't get the author's comment about the weirdness to cast Kristen. Rob on the other hand is so not Christian in any way.
I really think that "Edward and Bella" are not the perfect match for the Fifty shades of grey cast. I think the perfect person for the role of Cristian is Collin Egglesfield.
