The set of Die Hard 5, where Bruce Willis has been busy reprising his role as American hero John McClane, erupted in flames on Thursday!
A helicopter was set to land in the lobby of a Budapest building where a fire was planned, but the blades accidentally fanned the flames throughout the entire 5-story structure.
Now producers are screwed because they spent two months building that bad boy for five days of shooting … and now it's gone with the wind!
Luckily, Willis wasn't in the shot and the stunt double was able to escape the blaze without any injury. The star of the movie was reportedly back in his hotel room to deal with family issues when he got a call to rush back to set to help clear equipment from the fire's dangerous path.
Most A-listers probably would have stayed clear of the situation, but sources say that Willis arrive just moments after the fire started to help salvage cameras and other equipment that was nearly destroyed as well.
We're just glad no one was hurt!
