As predicted, The Amazing Spider-Man just keeps on making more and more money!
After Thursday's $15.8 million performance, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone's 3D reboot has made a total of $75 million at the U.S. box office and still has three more days to pretty much double that.
As we've previously mentioned, the blockbuster is on track to make between $125 million and $140 million by Sunday, but if audiences continue to pour into the theaters this weekend, the domestic total could easily reach $150 million!
Meanwhile, Katy Perry: Part of Me opened on Thursday to $3.1 million. That's a crumb of what Justin Bieber: Never Say Never made, BUT it only cost $12 million to make AND has been receiving wonderful reviews (because it is).
It won't be a blockbuster, but it will certainly post a profit for Paramount.
What movie are U going to see this weekend?
