"A perfect life? I think that's sort of cliche, isn't it? Like, [why is it] if you want to be happy, you should have the house, the husband, the kid. Kids are messy!"

    She put the HOUSE

  2. 2

Odd that she put HOUSE 1st, a material entity.

agree with her, why is every woman supposed to have children?!

  4. 4

I agree with her. It's unjust that women are expected by society to be maternal and love kids; we're all unique individuals, and motherhood isn't for everyone. So if she's not wanting kids, then it's not odd that she put the house first. She has her own set of priorities and doesn't let society dictate what they should be.

  5. 5

Re: koi – You aren't if you don't want to just stand up for it and stop explaining yourselves.
As for putting house 1st , doesn't mean anything, you read to much into it.

  6. 6

Re: koi – I agree. Children are not the only way to happiness. But her quote sounds a little silly, She is plenty rich enough not to have to clean up any mess a child would make. I think she is trying to make light of it, but it comes off as phoney.

  7. 7

Re: Omniscient Gal – Well said. It's also a nice change of pace to have someone put them in that order, as today, it seems to be more "kids first, then maybe a spouse, then maybe a house".

  8. 8

Yes, but she was married to Brad Pitt, who in every interview said he wanted children . . . Just a couple of years ago she said she wanted children. But now that she has hit 40 and has a man who must not be worried about children, either, now she is changing her tune.

  9. d says – reply to this

Stop beeing old "she put the house first" what if she had put the kid did that means she hates them and wants them dead?

  10. 10

Re: Candy Barr – Well, maybe she changed her tune because her situation has changed and she is making the most of it. When you are young it seems like you have all the time in the world, then suddenly you are 40, and time is no longer your friend.

If i didnt have kids at 40 years old then I wouldn't want them. Too fucking old. If she were with a man that desperately wanted kids.. i bet they wouldn't be too messy.

She is SUCH a sad figure…she had the ultimate F@CK, and she blew it ! She was just too vapid and stupid for him….all she was interested in was clothes, shopping, etc. He moved on…wanted kids, etc. She is a pot-head too, and a smoker…he eschewed that phoney lifestyle…now, she is an old maid, dating D-List guys….sad, so sad ……

    Amen, live and let live.

Poor Bitter Barren Spinster Jennifer Aniston, her Rage & Anger shows so well. All the money, fame, and beauty in the world and she's remains Poor Bitter Barren Spinster Jennifer Aniston…

  18. 18

Old Hag Jennifer's ovaries are drying up & shriveling; any child she conceive of course will be aborted immediately due to who know how many deformities from her drug addicted & alcoholic 40 year old 12 year old acting Boy-Toy….

  19. 19

She's selfish. People who have their "acts together" usually want to commit to another person and have children, so that they can create a meaningful history and pass down what they've learned. This is why many can't stand this girl! She has arrested development, that of a 16 year old. Grant it she looks great, but she never grew up, never became a woman, and is still in many ways a girl. Poor thing!

  20. 20

Re: Indigogo – It's selfish to not want children? What a ridiculous comment. The reverse can easily be said too ie: it's selfish to be so focussed on recreating your own genetic line that you neglect the millions of orphans who are without families, or it's selfish to give birth simply because YOU want a baby, etc. See how stupid those statements are? They're equally as stupid as yours. People make their own decisions and do what's best for their own lives, so take a shower and try and wash off that holier-than-thou judgemental coating that's stuck to you right now, as you certainly don't have your act together and are very narrow minded. Poor thing.

  21. 21

Re: Indigogo – you are a fucking idiot.

  22. 22

sure sign shes missing the boat not everyone wants 'messy' kids but she already said she did .. if the guy isnt going to either marry her impregnant her or anything her then he needs to go hes just wasting time she doesnt have…its not about expectations its about her justifying why she isnt getting anything she wants ..if she didnt want children why did she says she does..

  23. 23

Re: Meggie246524 – Grow up, little girl! You sound 12! Meggie with the cartoon elephant, LOL! Are you calling me stupid? Maybe I was stupid, when I married and had children, the best experience of my life! And I bet you and all of the single childless wonders out there take care of the millions of orphans in the world, LOL! Just an excuse for your failures!

  24. 24

Re: Indigogo – The Militant Bull-Dykes are flinging you shit…..

  25. 25

I think Bitter Barren Spinster Jennifer has had so many abortions that everything inside of her has been vacuumed out; there's nothing in there but a big gaping hole….

  26. 26

Re: Omniscient Gal – I know. Society expects women to give up their lives for children, getting fat is ok, because you have children to " show " for, being on wellfare too, because you have children to support, and if a woman don't want to have them , something is wrong woith her. That 's hoe limited and ignorant US society is. No wonder why the Country is broke. WE NEED MORE JENNIFER ANISTON'S.

  27. 27

Re: Indigogo – We can tell you are a middle American with narrow mind and nothing else to do other than pro create imbeciles like yourself.

  28. 28

Re: Norman Bates – We can tell you're uneducated and shouldn't procreate. Stay the course Norman!

  29. 29

    Wow Meggie-
It seems that you are entitled to your opinion, but when others differ they are "stupid". Is that right Meggie?

Re: Indigogo – So women are suppose to be baby making factories?

  33. j.no says – reply to this

Re: Indigogo – Just because it was the best experience of your luge doesn't make people that don't want children selfish. I have a daught, and she's awesome. However, just like any other person she can be a pain, and she's an extremely well behaved kid. She's the best thing that happened to my life, but the worst thing that ever happened to me physically. Pregnancy destroyed my body physiologically. Mentally, I'm great, but what pregnancy can do to a woman's body, and mayby not yours, is terrible. Not me every woman's body is meant to be pregnany, but you can become the greatest mom if you want to be in many ways.

Re: Indigogo – Girl? She's in her 40's and I'm pretty sure you don't know her outside gossip site and tabloids, so don't comment on her mental age or well being

  35. sarah says – reply to this

its not the fact that she doesnt want children, thats her right and no one should be forced into motherhood. But its the way she stated that, sayingg that i dont want kids, they are messy, seems so juvenile, not mention stupid. The way she states afew thing from time to time makes her seem so arrogant and irelevant

  36. 36

I have to say… Jennifer Aniston is my hero where single living is concerned. Why IS IT the only way to be happy is to have the stereotypical package deal of husband, kids, white picket fence, etc.??? I am a 43 year old woman, never married, never had children - and I'm far from being the classic spinster who sits at home with her kitty cats and being sad and alone. I am the person that watches my family and friends rack up the divorces and the dysfunctional children. I am the one THEY envy because I haven't ever been okay with the stereotype. I am a happy single woman. I can do as I please. I can have intimate relationships whenever I want to! And I don't have the responsibility of children who are getting a bad example of what life is supposed to be about by watching me have failed relationships that mommy says are supposed to be "forever". I have had my moments where I think: I MUST HAVE A CHILD! But those moments pass pretty quickly, and I'm always happy when I come back to my senses. I don't dismiss the whole stereotype as being what's right for some (maybe even most) people. But I am with Jennifer when she talks about the FACT that it's not for everyone. I respect her even more for making that statement.

  37. 37

Re: sarah – Messy means more than making messes when they eat or play with a room full of toys. That's not what she was referring to - or at least I took it differently than you did. I believe she means that kids are messy in that they complicate your life - or at least they SHOULD if you are going to be a parent! Kids are not for everyone, and it's good when a woman (or a man, for that matter) realizes that kids would make life to different from what they want. Kids that show up in the lives of people who can't admit to their desire to be childless often suffer such things as neglect, abandonment, insecurity. I'm glad - for myself - that I'm responsible enough to realize that I would likely be a not-so-great mom. That way, I don't harm the sensitive psyche of another human being that totally relies on me. I'm really happy that I care that much!

  38. 38

Re: Omniscient Gal – Agree… also I think she mentioned the house first because she is going through a big process of purchasing a new home, so it's very important to her and on her mind - likely a lot - at this point in her life. It's not a slight against her unborn children that she likely will never have. It's just her reality right now.

  39. 39

She most likely will end up like Diane Keaton; fake, old, and alone.

  40. 40

I agree with her. Why should happiness mean getting married and having kids???

  41. gmk8 says – reply to this

I love Jennifer Aniston — and I do not think it is "selfish" to not have kids. It's just as "selfish" to have kids!

I am happily married and 31, and I have two step-children. I love them like they are my own and they live with us 50% of the time. Still, everyone is pressuring me to have "my own kids." Enough. People need to stop putting pressure on woman to have children! It's all about control on some level. If you want kids- I absolutely wish you children. They are amazing. That being said, you can also have an amazing life without them. People should have a right to choose the life they want, without facing constant criticism for their choice.
