We're terribly sad to report that something has SNAPPED with Florence Welch!

Something has SNAPPED in her throat!!

Yes. Sigh.. it's true. Like Adele, our beaming fireball has succumbed to the b*tch that is voice malfunction.

But unlike Adele, Florence should be good to go in a week or so! Phew…

After receiving word from her doctor, she tweet-tweeted:

I've sustained a vocal injury and been told i cannot sing for a week.., seriously i felt something snap, it was very frightening..

Florence + the Machine was set to perform at Spain's Benicassim festival Thursday and Portugal's Optimus Alive this weekend. But, like her tweets explain, she won't be able to make it anymore.

Sigh… but we guess it's only a small price to pay for the preservation of her golden vocal chords! Get well soon, Flo!
