Angelina Jolie's Dad Defends Brad Pitt's Homophobic Mom

| Filed under: Brad PittAngelina JoliePolitikBarack Obama

Angelina Jolie's Dad

What a fun family!

Angelina Jolie's daddy, Jon Voight thinks Jane Pitt is just the bee's knees for condemning Obama supporters because he "supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage."

As you may have heard, the woman most known for giving birth to Brad Pitt, penned a letter urging people to vote for Mitt Romney because "Barack Hussein Obama" likes women's and minorities' rights a little too much for her taste.

Such a sweetheart!

Tuesday, Mr. Voight told FOX News that he's impressed with Mrs Pitt for expressing her homophobic views, because he appreciates freedom of speech agrees with her! Sheesh!

It appears the most famous couple in the world are the black sheep of the family. LOL!

It's confounding that two beautiful people with such incredible hearts come from parents with such sad, discriminating views.

Oh well, at least they now know their in-laws will get along at Thanksgiving!

Perez you don't know what it feels like to carry a child. And you never will. Stop supporting abortion, it's sickening. It's not about women's rights, it's about saving human lives. Humans that are so vulnerable they don't have a voice. Little innocent babies that are being killed! It's disgusting! And you will never ever understand what it means. So shut up! Just like I'm not gay so I won't sit here and tell you what's right. Your not a woman so just stop!

  2. Give Me A Break! says – reply to this

Mario, you have got to be the biggest hypocrite that I've ever heard of. Just because someone doesn't agree with YOUR views doesn't mean that it's bigoted or discrimination. Maybe YOU'RE THE BIGOT for continually discriminating against straight people. I've always supported gays but this relentless attack on straight people is really making me second guess everything.

  3. 3

Re: AnnoyedbyU – I have carried a child, and I am pro-choice. No-one wants abortion, but I fell it should be an available option as a last resort. Unwanted pregnancy often condemns a woman and her children to a life of poverty.

  4. 4

Re: Give Me A Break! – Mrs. Pitt's views are not bigoted or discriminatory just because she disagrees with Perez. They are bigoted and discriminatory all on their own. Some people are of the opinion that gays should not be allowed to get married. That is discrimination. Discrimination is hate. How can you possibly think that someone who wants to exclude a portion of society from privileges given to the majority is not discriminatory?

  5. 5

Perez, stop bullying people who don't agree with your views! You keep talking about respecting each other's opinions but here you go bashing people who have views you disagree with.

  6. AnnoyedbyU says – reply to this

Re: rosebud99 – you have carried a child? And you can honestly look at your children and agree with abortion? If a woman doesn't want to get pregnant then she should get on birth control. It's that simple. And if worse comes to worse give the baby up for adoption. There are many deserving people who want kids but can't make any of there own gay couples for example. There is nothing that justifies killing an unborn baby.

  7. onedirectioners says – reply to this

Perez, you're a sick in the head and you are delusional is you think you're not a bully. You also look foolish and no one respects someone who got famous for drawing genitals on celebrity faces. Every time you make a post like, more people support traditional marriage and even more people realize what a bully you are. I used to be in support of same sex marriage, but not after seeing what a piece of scum you are

  8. Freddie Fever says – reply to this

"Two beautiful people with such incredible hearts" - are you trying to make me laugh, Perez? Forget about the PR-created image - sometimes things (and people) are not always what they seem. All of their good deeds are publicity stunts designed to divert your attention from the fact that he's a druggie and she's a really weird chick leading a bisexual lifestyle who sees nothing wrong with french kissing her own brother. Any parents by that description living in your average American neighbourhood would be the talk of the town and likely ostracized. The REAL Angelina Jolie is the one who was with Billy Bob Thornton before she decided, for professional reasons, that it might be good idea to abandon the crazy wack-a-doodle image and become the new Mother Teresa.

  9. 9

Re: AnnoyedbyU – Yes, women who don't want kids should be on birth control. The reality is that unplanned pregnancies happen anyway. The other reality is that taking away a woman's choice often leaves a woman uneducated and poorer. As for adoption - people want perfect white babies - minority babies, or unhealthy babies do not get adopted as easily.

  10. 10

Re: rosebud99 – You're as bad as Perez is; it's not up to you to decide what's right and what's wrong. We each have a different concept of morality, and I happen to think that yours is too liberal. I also think you are bigoted and discriminatory in your treatment of Mrs. Pitt. She is as entitled to her beliefs and values as you are, and if she can live with herself when she looks in the mirror, then that's going to have to be good enough for you because you know what? I doubt she cares about your bigoted opinions (and you are as bigoted as those you've called out in this thread … take one to know one, maybe?). It's one thing to say that you disagree. It's another thing to be irresponsible and hateful by throwing tired words around. I normally respect what you write. But here, today, not so much. And I'm sorry to have to say that, because despite the fact that our philosophies so obviously disagree so much of the time, I refrain from labeling you because I respect your right to have and express your opinion. It's a shame that you're not a big enough person to do the same.

  11. 11

Re: AnnoyedbyU – Rosebud99 is correct; despite the fact that I called her out in my earlier post here, I agree with her about abortion and support what she says 150%. If you don't believe in abortion, don't have one. But if I choose to have one, I will, and your opinion will make no difference. I too am a mother, and I too would exercise the option of abortion if faced with an accidental, unwanted pregnancy. You stick to your beliefs, but I will never allow you to impose yours on me.

  12. 12

He just keeps sticking his foot in doesn't he?? Just got on Angie's good side and oops he did it again….

  13. 13

The post was a little harsh, no? Perez, you sound kind of like a bully. It's not nice to try to change someone's beliefs under duress. It is better to calmly state, with no condescension or ill will, why you disagree with the person and kindly try to show them your vantage. That being said, let me point out that it is another thing to try to force your opinions on somebody else. Please stop disparaging others for not seeing the world as you see it. Personally, I am on the fence about so many issues. Your attacks (albeit subtle ones- "Such a sweetheart!") makes me question your agenda, sometimes.

  14. 14

Re: Yes You Bore Me – I respect people's right to an opinion. The difference with this issue is that they want legislated discrimination. People can believe whatever they want, but once they start trying to inflict their morals on others - then it is more than just a difference of opinion, it is a serious civil rights issue. I don't think people should get tattoos. That is my opinion. BUT - if I supported legislation to make tattooing illegal - then it is more than just an opinion because I am trying to inflict it on others. See the difference?

  15. fatherbieb says – reply to this

Good. Everyone who is a Brad Pit fan should be ashamed of him. His whole family should be ashamed of him. Even if he doesn't support his mother's views, he should have come to her defense since she has pieces of trash like Pedoperez bashing her. I'm sure Brad and Angelina are your number fans Perez, especially for bashing their parents. You're all class

  16. andy says – reply to this

Disagreeing with same sex marriage does not make you homophobic, and it certainly does not mean you hate homosexuals. True Christians do not hate homosexuals because that would go against everything that Jesus represents. He represents love and salvation. I do not support gay marriage, but I would never mistreat or have ill will toward someone who does.

  17. AnnoyedbyU says – reply to this

Re: Yes You Bore Me – So then let's legalize murdering then. If its ok to have an abortion then it's ok to just murder people. Let's just kill everyone that causes financial hardship on you. Because you cant face the consequences of YOUR actions

  18. AnnoyedbyU says – reply to this

Re: rosebud99 – Tattooing is not hurting anyone. Abortion does more then hurt it kills….. And please Explain to me why if a pregnant woman is murdered th e murderer is charged twice. With a double murder. Does the life of an unborn baby only matter if a woman decides so? When is the life of an unborn baby significant to you? If you want to talk about morals half the laws made in this country are based on morals. yes unplanned pregnancies happen, and if they do is it to much to ask that a person accepts responsibility for there actions? Is that so horrible to do?

  19. 19

Some of you need to look at what you are saying before you say it. You condemn Perez for his ways, but are SO hateful in yours!

I am pro-choice, because it is the choice of a woman! That is simple enough. And would all of you PLEASE stop saying it's about "innocent lives" and "protecting those who can't speak for themselves." While that is true, why do you not care about kids who are actually here? What about the little babies who get beaten? Shaken to death? Where are all of you? While I do not want any "fetus" to be harmed, I cannot stand how some of you sit back and let innocent infants and toddlers get beaten. If you took all of the energy spent on the anti-abortion fight, you could really save kids who are being abused right now.

Freedom of speech is important. So Perez is using HIS freedom of speech to call out some very hateful speech by this idiot woman. "I do not believe in Gay marriage because ____." But we know what she is doing there - come now, by using the Presidents Middle name she is trying to make it sound like he is a terrorist. We have heard that one million times before.

And I ask, finally, that people STOP saying that pro-choice people are pro-abortion! Oh MY GOD. WE ARE NOT PRO-ABORTION.Decisions are made. People consult each other and their own personal beliefs. It could easily go both ways. The guilt could come from adoption…not providing the child with enough…or abortion.

  20. 20

Re: andy – If you can have your opinion without inflicting your opinion on others - great. But if you support discriminatory legislation, you are inflicting your opinion on others, and that discriminatory practice is hateful.

  21. 21

Sucks to be gay, lmao. Let's talk about your parents now. Your Momma is a leech who doesn't have a mind of her own and your Papa is Jerry Sandusky. Maybe I don't agree with Momma Pitt's every view but I'm not going to get bent out of shape over it. Gays seem to be born with the wimp gene.

  22. 22

Re: AnnoyedbyU – The life of an unborn baby is significant when it is viable. I realize this is a gross generalization that changes as technology does, but to a certain degree, the life of an unborn baby is very much subjected to the feelings of the mother. Sometimes getting an abortion is taking responsibility for your actions.

Re: blondly7 – I totally agree with what you say about people who seem to care so much for the unborn, then not give a damn for kids. Your comments about being pro-abortion also resonate. People who are pro-choice see abortion as a last resort - no-one is pro-abortion.

  23. 23

He has a right to his own opinion even if you don't share it.

  24. lucylou says – reply to this

As someone who LOVES perezhilton.com and visits the site every day I am becoming very upset about how you refer to people with different view than you. Mrs. Pitt has the right to views and an opinion just as much as you do! Just because she does not support the killing of babies does not mean she doesnt respect womans rights. I am tired of everyone being allowed an opion except for the christians!

  25. 25

Re: rosebud99 – Get a new handbook, because calling people out with your tired name-calling is pathetic. If someone has a different opinion than you, it does not give you the right to label them. Your belief is, if the opinion doesn't match yours than it has to be wrong or to quote you "bigoted" and "discriminatory". With all your posts on this you have proven yourself to be exactly what you claim to Mrs. Pitt to be. Take a break from chasing your own tail, and try to believe that not everyone in the world thinks like you is correct and all others are wrong!

  26. 26

Re: smithygirl – I only have a problem with the opinions of others when they try to inflict them on everyone - in this case through legislation.

  27. Tisha says – reply to this

Im a Christian and I feel that as a Christian we are always being abused for our views…
why is it ok for people to love and honor being Gay, which by the way I have gay friends and family and I do not have any contention for my Gay family or friends and I do feel that gay people should have everything that they are stiving for, but marriage to me is between a man and woman…civil unions are pretty much the same as marriage but it is not held in the eyes of God..also why do we as a society have to be so mean and hateful to one another, can't we agree to disagree and keep things respectful and kind to one another.. I will never wane in my belief system and I do not intend to vote for President Obama, I do respect him as our President, I just don't have anything in common with his views and I refuse to be disrespectful to him at all period. I will vote my convictions and hope you will learn that just because we don't have the same belief does not make it ok to bash people because they do not agree with you.

  28. 28

Re: AnnoyedbyU – A woman should be on birth control if she doesnt want to get pregnant? Well, duh. But there is still always a chance of pregnancy happening. Birth control is not one hundred percent. Its not always "that simple". Also, carrying a child and giving it up for adoption still costs money. It's not like you see on tv where there is a couple ready to adopt and pay for everything. Most of the time it just goes to an adoption agencu. And you still have to pay for your doctor visits and vitamins and everything else involved in being pregnant. So no it's not an easy process.
And saying nothing justifies killing an unborn baby is ridiculous. A young girl raped by a family member should keep it? Someone who has a health complication and will likely die should keep the baby? Someone I know personally got pregnant and the baby's organs were growing outside it's body, it was a huge medical risk and she didnt keep the baby. So yes there are situation were abortion should be an option.

Re: rosebud99 – Which is exactly what you did, when you call someone bigoted, you're inflicting your view of "correct" on other people! Hence you're still chasing your own tail!

  31. 31

Re: AnnoyedbyU – STFU. The world is severely over populated as it is. MORE kids in the world? No thanks.

  32. 32

Re: smithygirl – I do feel like I am chasing my tail. Or banging my head against the wall. Let's try this again. Everyone has a right to an opinion. It is not right to turn that opinion into legislation and inflict it on everyone. It is then not just an opinion, but state sanctioned discrimination. See the difference?

  33. 33

I'm not homophobic and I personally support Gay people and gay marriage but I do hate how its being forced down everybody's throat! Not everybody has the same opinion on this kinda of stuff and its their right not to be in favour of it! My grandma is old school Christian and she doesn't agree with it, and its her right not to. Stop trying to force everybody to support Gay marriage and go against those who don't!

  34. Monroe says – reply to this

Re: AnnoyedbyU – He may not be a woman, but I am, and I support abortion 100 % it's upsetting enough when men tell women lies about abortion but when women believe its "murder". As a fellow woman, don't you want your sisters to do whats right for them and their families? You don't have to have an abortion yourself, but don't stop me from getting one!

  35. 35

Re: rosebud99 – Okay lets examine what you just said, and use a few examples:
Let's use marriage (as defined between 1 man & 1 woman), I assume you would think it would be wrong to legislate and inflict it on everyone. But you seem fine when we change the subject to abortion, then you think it is correct to legislate and inflict it on everyone. Therefore your opinion seems to be what drives and defines what should be legislated and inflicted on everyone. And the counter opinion is not worthy to be legislated and inflicted on everyone. You're using the presumption that only your opinion is correct.

  36. Monroe says – reply to this

Re: AnnoyedbyU – Adoption is an alternative to parenthood, not pregnancy. I don't ever want to be pregnant, therefore if my birth control failed, i would get an abortion

we are suppose to be a country that every person has their own right. Not everyone agree with what others do but that is their CHOICE.Being pro choice does NOT make you a bad person. We do not know what someone reason is for doing what they do so how can we judge what they do. To everyone that is not pro choice I have this question for you.If you were rap and got pregnant would you want to be forced to caring a baby of a person who violated you. I know I didn't, and I have children. So I know what its like,Its unfair to tell someone that they would have to do that.

what ever happened to people having their own opinion. its like if you don't support gay rights all of a sudden you get bullied into it because everyone else plays the "discriminating" card. people have every right to express their beliefs. she has a right to believe what she wants just like gay supporters have their right to express their beliefs. and don't try to compare it to slavery saying "everyone in america once believed in slavery did that make it ok?" because we arent talking about slavery and physically harming people. (i HATE when people make that comparison..it's TOTALLY not related)

  44. 44

so a crackhead prostitute should have a baby? which will grow into an innocent child probably taken away by authorities thrown into the fostercare system which i have heard horror stories about just so the "good" people of this country can sleep at night knowing these unborn fetuses are not aborted. who is going to care for all these unwanted babies…taxpayers dollars? not everyone lives the picture perfect life of momma pitt. some people live in squalor with shitty conditions. a child should not be brought into that. i am sure momma pitt and the rest of these bible humpers have no problem with slaughter houses. i find it amusing that this is the most quiet the jolie/pitt clan have been in a long time and i love it.

Isnt it funny that people against CHOICE (there aren't any Pro-Abortion people) are only concerned for the fetus. But once the baby is born they don't want to know from them. No help .welfare, Food Stamps, School etc) then when they reach 18 they want them to be patriotic and join up (Armed Forces( only to be injured or killed in the line of duty! Isn;t it funny? 49. 49

Re: rosebud99 – What about the father's rights? If I knock you up, you decide whether our child dies or not based on what YOU want. It doesn't matter whether the father wants the baby. Then again, if you want it but the father doesn't, he will get the bill. Sounds like you have MORE rights than the father.

  50. 50

Re: blondly7 – Here's my free speech "idiot woman", umm I am assuming you are talking about yourself. Abortion should be legal only if BOTH partners are involved. You may not want the child while the father does but you can kill that child. If the father doesn't, you have it and he ends up play. Where is the "equality" that you want in that?

  51. 51

Re: Monroe – Actually, the alternative to parenthood would either be not spreading your legs or getting tubes tied.

  52. 52

Re: Ro sky – You can call it pro-choice all you want but it does equal to pro-abortion. As far as supporting children, I not only donate my time but my money as well. Before you make broad generalizations, please do a little bit of research. Abortion is already forced. It's just forced on men. It takes 2 to get pregnant, but the decision to kill the child is only with the mother. If you don't want the child but I do, you kill the baby. If you want the baby but I don't, I have no choice but will get a bill from the court.

  53. 53

Re: byte me – You are talking about the exception to the rule. In most cases the father either agrees to the abortion, or doesn't care. If this scenario happened to you - I am sorry for your pain.

  54. 54

Re: rosebud99 – You just summed up how closed minded you really are and you don't even realize it! Priceless!

  55. 55

Re: byte me – There are many risks when getting your tubes tied, and you could still get pregnant. And those are ectopic pregnancies, which is extremely dangerous. Not only that but it is very expensive, it would take about a decade for it to become cost effective, as far as taking the pill, using condoms or having and IUD put in.
The other option you say is "not spreading your legs", which is easier said then done. Why should a woman deny her husband and herself pleasure just to not get pregnant. There are many women who take precautions in healthy relationships who get pregnant and don't want it or cant afford it.

  56. Aleya says – reply to this

As a woman, I am Pro-choice. I think it's best for young girls who have no support from anyone. Do you want to punish a 15 year old girl for having sex and happened to get pregnant by forcing her to carry on with the pregnancy when otherwise she might have chose abortion? I also think it's a viable option for victim of rape. I also think it's a good option for people who find out their child has a congenital disease. Why carry a baby and give birth knowing that baby won't live? People care sooo much about fetuses that they don't have any feelings for the people that are already here living.

  57. Aleya says – reply to this

Re: byte me – you said: "Actually, the alternative to parenthood would either be not spreading your legs or getting tubes tied."

So as a married woman, I'm not going to have sex? Or, the other option you put, I'm supposed to get my tubes tied? Problem with that is, just to use myself as an example, I may want kids in the future. I do not want them at this present point in time. Let me turn your suggestion around and tell you to get a vesectomy. That way, you won't get a woman pregnant and they can't go around and get an abortion even if you said you wanted the baby.

  58. 58

When did telling your parents what to think become a good thing? Regardless of what either side things, people are allowed to disagree and still love each other. I imagine Perez and Mama don't agree on everything… and yet, pictures of the two on vacation together. First off, Mrs. Pitt is NOT homophobic. Her views differ from yours and she's entitled to them. I don't agree with her views, but that does not make her a horrible person. Many people in her age group feel the SAME way, that's just how it is. They're the same people who feel that you should be married before you have sex. Just leave her alone, you're making a big deal over NOTHING. By the way, Brad & Angelina are totally NOT the beautiful people with incredible hearts that you claim they are. I have had 3 kids and I am totally pro-choice. I know several people that had abortions and believe it was in their best interest. The children would have undoubtedly been born drug addicted, mentally and physically disabled and lived a life of poverty and without a doubt abuse. Drug addicts and some of the mentally unstable are not of clear mind to use birth control. Keeping these children would be a huge cost to the tax payer and we would be reading stories of how these born children were murdered, neglected, abused, sexually assulted by the mothers boyfriends and dealers that come and go etc. While abortion is not right for me it certainly is the best option for others.

Gay, gay, gay. Is that all you care about Perez?

  75. 75

Hey Perez, you f*cking pig — maybe you're the hypocrit? So what…you're entitled to your pro-gay agenda and to babble on and on and on about it…but she can't have her views? Typical liberal hypocrit douchebag.

Re: cherryUGH – THANK YOU. Finally somebody says it. We are so G-damn overpopulated it's sickening. Let's start focusing on the millions of children starving around the world before we start to call abortion "murder", which it's not, by the way. Up until birth the fetus is a part of it's mother and therefore it is her responsibility as to how she wants to handle it. Your people's views on "pro-life" are the reason we have such a big welfare and unemployment problem. It's not just a coincidence.

Re: Frances27 – Wow! Why stop at abortion, let's just get busy with this over population problem now! Where do you want to start? Should we do it by race, religion, age? Any thoughts? See if you can spin it so it sounds like you're doing the world a favor, like you did with that abortion thing! I think your really on to something!

Re: avery – I don't think you understood me, I don't condone murder, I support the choice of abortion. It has nothing to do with race, sex, or age, so I'm not sure where that argument came about, I never said it was. And to be completely honest, abortion IS doing the world a favor. The world's population (what is it now, 7 billion?) is expected to increase by HALF by 2050. And that's with a world with abortion. Whether you want to face it or not, abortion is a very necessary concept.

Although probably not the potential of Dustin Hoffman, Jon Voight had the world open to him after Midnight Cowboy. It's obvious to a lot of us that it was not because of lack of talent , it was because of his open mouth and closed mind that relegated Voight to relative obscurity. A bit bit bit part in Laura Croft. How humiliating is that?

Brad Pitt is a horrible actor with horrible morals. Did anyone expect any less from the woman who raised him. Open your eyes and minds people. Yes, everyone has their one views on everything but just like the 60's the times they are a changing. People need to stop judging people baised on lifestyle and views. I have met wonderful homeless people, gay people, drug addicts, ect. Who have honestly changed my life in positive lights. My best friend has comeletly differant views on lifestyles that I do yet we are BEST Friends. Until you walk a mile in someone elses life. You should stop judging and try learning. I swear the world is becoming so angryand hopeless.

Re: JP – Last I heard we lived in America and have the right and freedom to speak and hold our own thoughts…and the decorum to respect and agree to disagree. If you ever wish to show someone another view point do it though quiet actions-people tend pay attention and open their minds when not dictated to, bullied or called names about their current veiw points. Sometimes people change with kindness and love..accept what you cannot change in people and focus on yourself…

Well I am a woman, I have two loved and wanted children, and I support wonen's rights to make their own reproductive decisions.
Don't like abortions? Don't have one. But don't try to strip women of their right to bodily autonomy, and definitely don't try to speak for anyone other than yourself just because you have a vagina.
The imagined 'rights' of a fetus or embryo do not trump the very real rights of the grown woman you would force into gestation.
Oh, and as a straight woman I proudly support the rights of those in the LGBTIQ community. You don't have to be a member of a minority to recognise and support their rights.

There's ONE simple fact about abortion: It makes you a parent of a DEAD child. You will forever be a parent…whether you choose to KILL your child or not!
